Should we talk about the weather?

well along with sarcasm and the ability to queue, discussing the weather is said to be one of those things that define us as being British, so this may take off..... or not.

last few days, here in the SE, its been that beautiful spring sunshine that almost makes it worth going through the winter for.
Been outside soaking it up like some kind of cold blooded reptile. suddenly all the ladies you pass on the street look gorgeous.
now we just need the clocks to go forward so i stop waking up at 6am.

anyone else?

It's been really nice the last 3 days or so.....I've been doing a lot of work in the garden.....chopped down a couple of cordelines that finally succumbed to the couple of cold winters we've had....put in a new whitecurrant bush.

Only a couple of days till the clocks go forward....I love the run up to midsummer and the long long days.

Stoned on the patio in the Midlands today. Picked a good day to take off work, couple of pints in a beer garden early afternoon.

Only downside, 200 quid on two tyres.

I suffer badly with S.A.D along with clinical depression, and i have found the last few days to absolutly wonderfull, winter is the worst time of year for me, and thats probably why i like my indoor gardening so much, as i get the benificial light light i need.
I`v also been in the garden today, though not my own, i was helping a mate by cutting down his conifer hedge, but it will be more wood for my sauna.

yeah vit D is good for that, winter is depressing, i dont mind the cold so much as the wind and wet.

started dull here but cleared up, going great guns in the garden - even tidied the shed today.

Weather is real nice today and has been for a week!! I spring cleaned the shed too, dug over the garden. Went fishing because of the New moon the sun is good as well, everything is early this year the cracks in the ground are early apparently so it will be a hot 1 for sure, I'm not putting a grow on for a bit going to relax a few months, get some veg in the ground and do some DIY, I had clear sky all day it was too bright at times to see with the glare on the water with no clouds it got quite cold about 8pm so I came home,

Keeping the rods in the fishing wagon this week I'll be up like you VG at 5am but at a lake somewhere for 6.

have a nice summer all.

man winter is beautiful, you gotta have the rough with the smooth, otherwise the smooth isnt as smooth.

the honeys do come out of the woodwork in the sun dont they, the weather draws em out. i always wonder where they are the rest of the year, lol

well, what amazing weather we've had - and it looks like a scorcher of an easter weekend...
you know the scene - everybody decides to have a bbq, bulk buy beer is in short supply in the supermarkets, fights break out over the last iceberg lettuce in the salad section.:D
you cant get burger buns for love nor money...

enjoy it while it lasts..... could do with a bit o' rain for the garden

Its coming to the time of year where one of the lamps needs to come down and the light mover takes over. Maybe it's time to invest in 600w Led Lights for the summer.
