So,the exhaust fan is ok(100mm),but without a fan at the intake the smell will come out..do you think the exhaust fan will make a negative pression in the room making the job?and do you think is good to make a scrog with an automatic plant?thanks for help and sorry for this OT

your actually doing more harm by having the pc fan over the intake...it actually does the opposite of what you may think...it will allow the smell to escape anywhere and everywhere thats not air tight. by having the PC fan only in exhaust, you create negative pressure...similar to a vacuum. it "sucks" the air through the exhaust only...assuming that the exhaust is carbon filtered since smell is of concern, then you will be good to go, free of escaping air leeks/smell caused by that additional intake fan...like stated above...move that intake fan so it blows on the canopy...this will keep air circulating, strengthen your stems allowing heavier bud mass and it will help reduce the chance of bud rot!

Yeah, don't sweat the small stuff. So it aint showroom tight...it'll get the job done.
Hell, as far as I'm concerned it looks dandy.

If it really bugs you...
3M spray adhesive and a small graphics squeegee will get the job done right, but you need to have your act together when you start. And it will be there for the duration.
Start by spraying along the top only and afixing the sheet to the glue, spreading and keeping it taught until the spray sets (not long!).
Then spray another row and work your way down spraying and smoothing as your go. If the material is not very robust, you may just use your hands and not try a squeegee.

That looks better than white paint. Did you break out the squeegee? Props to Baba Ku.

I can see the reflector now, thought it was a hood. If you get in a headroom jam, you can remove the ends of the reflector and you've got a bat wing. The wings can be flexed up to and including [flat] against the ceiling. You might gain as much as 1/2 foot if your plants overgrow the space. Might get better light distribution too.

lol no i did not break out the squeegee ,

i broke out my fiance and had her pull it tight little by little while i taped over it .

Also the hps bulb itself is level at the bottom of the reflector , so if i flexed the reflector up i will still only have 9" from the top of the pot that im going to grow in to the light .

im going to attempt a scrog/lst in their

i just had to post a question on the equipment thread to find out where to place my scrog net at

so now im just waiting on that so i can put the net in

Well i gained about 2 1/2 " in height by doing this

i took the hanging brackets off and drilled a hole in the frame that holds the reflector ,

i put the ( S ) hooks through the hole i drilled so i can hang it from their , and it gave me the extra 2 1/2 " .

420tyme,

If you mount the screen to the cab, you won't be be able to pull the container out to maintenance. If you mount the screen to the pot, you can remove it from the cab if needed. I've see some growers mount their screen to a piece of plywood and set the container underneath. I just put legs on the screen and it stands in the container. These are a bit short but went in a 2 gal drip tray. I exchanged longer leg verts for a 4 gal sterlite.

If you want to mount to the cab, check out BC Chronic's cab. He has a 1" wood screen frame laying on the same 1" wood blocks. The 1" square wood framing is cut to ~4" long, mounted to the cab walls with screws/nails and glue or combination of.

The screen frame just lays on the wood blocks. Strain (dependent) may lift the screen... might have to be secured from above as well.

I edited the post. Check out BC Chronic. He's a gent and a scholar, would probably be happy to lend a tip. I think his setup is a dresser like yours. His thread shows the whole process of the setup. Add your own ideas and custom fit your needs. Best wishes, you've got a great start.

Nice work on your hood. I really like htg reflectors.

As far as ballasts, that's the best visual representation IMO. I like the way the components are separate from the coil. Does it make any noise?

420tyme, go with what's best for you. I'm sorry if you went to extra trouble for naught. It's hard to tell from the pics but I'd go with what you prefer. How close the bulb is to the canopy is key. With a scrog, you'll be able to control the height pretty well. I should have waited till you overgrow that sucker to offer that kind of tip.
