i have some type of bubbles forming on the stems, they may be an egg, they look like a tiny piece of sprayfoam, amberish in color, semi translucent, not perfectly oval, a little bit bigger than an adult spider mite, can anyone enlighten me please?

I subscribed to this thread hoping an answer might come. I know what OP is talking about though. Pretty good description. When I took some off of my plants they seemed to crumble when pinched. They looked rounder than any picture of scale that I've seen. There didn't appear to be any damage to the plant either. I just thought it might be sap or something.

If it's on the base of the stem. I might say that it's a root zone issue.

When the roots are drowning or the environment is too humid(with cuttings), you'll find little off white knubs which form at the base of the stem. This is the plant trying to make new roots, because something is wrong in the root zone. Usually over watered and as a result not enough oxygen is available.

If you put some pics up I'll have a better idea.

Wow this sound exactly like what my plants had. It never seemed to effect the plant so never bothered to ask. It would appear on the branches & appear to be dried up residue as if you were to spray it with something white. I too would like to know.

You've either got scale or something is causing gals to form. Scale is pretty easy to treat, gals aren't generally treatable.

scale bugs. scrape off the bubbles, they are adults that have shed their legs and do nothing but pump out babies which crawl around until they find a spot to do the same. regular safers soap will work on teh crawlers and you can scrape the bubs.

you will also notice a sticky residue on the plants. that is from the scale insects as well.

there are more kinds of scale insects than any other insect. most you see in the states tend to look like this somewhat... at least on the east coast.

^thats exactly what I had on a couple my plants Pseudo. When I touch them they seem to be hollow inside & break/pop.

Man you guys have gotta pay closer attention to where you stick yer stems.

Sounds like herpesaurus cannabis. Once thought to have became extinct shortly after the black plague. Astonishing scientists worldwide when it was recently rediscovered early in 2011 after US President Obama ass fucked the marijuana industry, reintroducing the herpes mutated sex genes of a sand flea with cannabis.

WOW, I am very familiar with those exact nubs from that exact situation, they were a pre-curser to wet feet problems for me. Wish I knew that a month back, hell I almost started a thread because of the nubs but then determined they were normal & I was just high & freaking out when I thought it looked a bit odd.

Sorry OP, back on topic.
