Chomp's Refridgerator Leftovers

i think i see the dark, glossy leaves of a MIS back there, everything looks to be in flower from what i see
must be its top is obscured by another plant
the nitrogen could have been messing with it, from what i saw of other grows, it doesn't need much nutrition
adapted to fairly low nutrients soils, 23 days is huge, that is really different
one thing i had read is it can ripen late into the season, pretty impervious to low temps, maybe its genetically wired for late bloom

The MiS is the one right in front now....the other 2 are the schnazz#2 that are in full bloom right now...all 3 plants were switched to 12/12 at the same time, but the schnazz#2 were older and already had preflowers....I checked again for light leaks last night but there aren't any. The cab is inside a dark closet so even when I sit in there long enough for my eyes to adjust it's still pitch black....I think it's just a genetic thing, hardwired like you said. I've just never had a plant ever not respond to 12/12 for so long before. It is still stretching and very healthy though....I might throw it outside it's going to be taking up way too much space and I want a full cab of C99!

The male did his duty today....pollinated a whole branch on one of the girls, going to repeat the deed again in a couple days to make sure :good:

i see's her now(with luck), those leaves are interesting, not quite the classic indica shape, not really sativa either, really different
i'm seeing leaves that are narrow at the base, stay narrow for a while, then kind of 'lobe' out for the last 1/3 of the leaf

Yeah they start out looking like fat indica leaves and kind of elongate into that form...never had one look like that before....still nothing as of today, but the side branches are starting to alternate nodes so maybe it's getting close to showing?

Thanks BC Chronic!
I think I will end up losing the 2 cuttings I took of both the Schnazz#2 girls in bloom after the cold snap...They just wilted and seem to be giving up...Nothing else was affected at all though....The Schnazz#2 male cutting I took at the same time even rooted...

The Schnazz#2's are starting to frost up and it's only day 26...I think they will end up being just as stoney as the last time I ran them!

I haven't smoked in over a year at this point....I am patiently waiting for that first toke!

I spoke too soon on the Schnazzleberry#2 cuttings...they are almost completely yellow, but they had root this morning and should make it

And the C99's are coming along good...one seems to be a little a more sativa leaning pheno and is a little sensitive....they have been topped and are needing a transplant...it should recover after the transplant and I reduced the nutes to 1/4 strength and it's liking that better....they will all benefit from a transplant I think

Have a great day!

Hey!! I still see green at the top of the seedling/s so thats a VERY good sign my friend!
1 year? It will be like toking for the first time:party:..you are in for a treat!!
I went 2 years ( broke my neck/back) without toking and when I did, I got sooo paranoid:comfort:lol...
sativa's are finicky sometimes....I'm an indica fan just because they love the nutes!!
talk to ya soon

Thanks for the encouraging words BC Chronic! Sorry to hear about your back man...back injuries are not fun at all....that's why I started growing again for back pain management.

I am saving up all the trimmings so far to make some butter...that should be a fun first stone! I don't even have any friends that smoke so I'm stuck waiting...lol

When you see a cutting on it's last legs like those two are, all yellow and half dead, throwing out roots and struggling to survive, it reminds me how fragile and powerful life can be all at the same time....

I hit the flowering plants with some Tiger Bloom yesterday to cut down on the Nitrogen and they seem to be really happy with it. They are starting to take off and fatten up...

I have to figure out my camera so I can get some better close up pics...they are starting to get frosty and pic worthy!

Finally was able to figure out how to get a decent closeup...here a lower bud on the Schnazzleberry#2...it's going to be a frosty girl I think, there's already trichs on the fan leaves!

It's been a little while since I updated this thread so here's the Schnazzleberry#2 @ day 34 of 12/12 and a few pics of the Mazar-i-Sharif before it got chopped up for worm food. It ended up being a hermie. The root growth was crazy so I snapped a few pics....

The two Schnazz#2 cuttings are going to make it which is sweet since they are from the faster, bigger, frostier girl... She's also prego with seeds showing on the branch I pollinated :whee:

Here's the two Schnazz#2 girls in bloom...you can see my ghetto fan set up cooling the 150. I'm still amazed at what this little light is capable of:

thank you for that last pic, very sad that being a hermie, looked very healthy overall
the root pics are insane, those are pretty wild
landraces do have some rep for things like this happening, i would guess the relatively rich soil sent some traits into overdrive

It's hard to tell with all the roots in the way, but that was in straight coco, the roots just explode in that stuff...

I was looking forward to putting the MiS outside until it hermied. I bet it would have done really good having such a head start...oh well now I have room for other things

Thanks #1cheesebuds...they have really frosted up over the last week and my pics don't do them justice...I definitely am not a photographer...lol I did some rearranging to spread them out around the fan yesterday and my fingers could stick together....:yummy:

I can't wait for harvest time I am really looking forward to taking that first puff in over a year. The way these two girls are looking I have at least 25-30 days to wait....I may have to take an early sample in a few weeks :dance013:
