Busted in Idaho!

Give me a break. Dude was in prison. He learned his lesson and doesn't want to go back. You guys can search for loop holes all you like but my guess is that the OP will sleep easier just taking a little break rather than risking another visit to Marble Town, Idaho.

Idaho is a super conservative rightwing state, I personally hope things go well for you but be, Get an attn'y that will fight for you. But then its the great state of Idontknow. I can speak from experience live in Idaho for 13 years now only go to visit family and then get out of the state.
I also believe that Idaho, is a prisons for profit state, so they tend to put people in prison as a labor force, only the inmates get like $2.00 a day and then they take out the cost of your incarceration you get squat, they get slave labor. Corporation make out like bandit literally, they pay no bennies or vacation, or sick time, etc. and get cheap labor so the bottom line soars. Kinda sickening when you think about it.

Well, it occurs to me that there is usually someway to argue any point, whether you are factually correct, or morally correct. I can see that there may be some wiggle room in my parole contract... however, if it came to another legal struggle, I would just not have the means to afford a lawyer....and the risk is too great....
Respectfully, Id like to point out that my intent of sharing my story is to be an example of what not to do....and to open the eyes of my fellow growers to the real possibilitys of a bust...
When I first started growing many years ago, I was extremely aware of security at my grows, and as time passed I became more lax....Then I moved to Nor-Cal, and I was surrounded by like minded poeple and I became more lax....Then I moved to Idaho..and I didnt really tighten my game up....So please learn from my errors
The changes in my life since my arrest have been astounding, some good, some bad but I have to admit that my decisions were the reasons that I got busted.....
Ive been without herb for a long time now, and Ive adapted to a different lifestyle.Parole wont last forever, and when Im done, believe me, Im comin out swingin!

I didnt mean to be or sound like an ass but hey if we are to win this war the gov't is putting upon us then every winnable victory needs to be won, the more we win the more they lose. and then its the cost, fighting is expensive and extremely hard for an individual, however any lobby groups fighting the good fight should be able to stand up get donations and help win it?

ChronicD-I hear your point and I agree that we as a community, need to fight for our beliefs...I would challenge my circumstances if I had the means....unfortunatly, the legal system is just about inaccsesable to those of us with little means....

rudedog- unfortionatly it even worse than that....there is a complete industry built on the prison system.....it makes many people richer....

While I agree with you on this point, OP really has the deck stacked against him in seeing that he has been branded a criminal by a court.

Maybe in a couple of years when the movement starts shifting our way even more we can right the wrongs done to 'innocents' such as our OP. In the meantime, play the game bruddah. I can imagine that prison is not a fun place to be. :(

Alaskind you are doing the right thing. What some people dont realize is LEO can do anything they want. The parole board could fuck you in a heartbeat.

What some of you dont understand is there is no MMJ in Idaho so there is NO allowance for it. If Oregon reports him for MMJ, he is violated. Oregon only acts as a middle man. they simply report the facts, they dont make decisions.

they can't report him for MMJ.

MMJ is private medical business.

They can report him for getting caught with MJ and no medical, tho

Idaho doesn't suck, you suck!

I was born there and have lots of family there still. My Dad and uncles had some huge outdoor grows there. Eventually security was their downfall and my Dad did a few years in their penitentiary too. He screwed around on parole and went back again. I keep trying to get him to move to Kali with me!!

.......sounds like an interesting family dynamic

they dont denote how the thc got into his pee.

they let Idaho know what is in the pee.

be it thc,opiates,meth or cocaine.

idaho will then ask for a prescription for legal pharmaceuticals(marinol, morphine, methanphetimine or whatever tests for coke)

if he cant produce a script(you cant get a "prescription" for marijuana in any state)you violate and do time.

dagnabit-From where I sit it looks like you are dead on....

truth or lie- You have voiced your views on the subject of the legall position that Im in, & Im curious- have you had any experience with being a parolee seeking medicine? I guess what Im getting at is that Im required to follow my p.o.'s directions, or Im in violation.....I am required to get permission to change residences, change jobs, or enter into any contract... I dont have to break the law to violate my parole, they can violate me for not following thier instructions....Please tell me why you feel that you have such a strong opinion on this subject.....

Thanks for the story. It seems like those with the *real* appreciation for the law and the risks are those of us who have had to do the dance..

It's the folks who have had the good fortune to never have had any trouble who "have all of the answers.."

Sucks. Did two years for selling to an undercover.. ...Now I'm just glad to be LEGAL. Wouldn't even entertain the thought of growing if I weren't.

Good luck to you duder - sounds like you've got your mind straight and a good attitude..

I have to ask, not expecting an answer though.

Say for a job UA, you fail for THC, but you have a prescription for marinol. Then its ok?

Then why doesn't every person that gets a rec for mmj get a prescription for marinol, if only for legal protections?

I doubt this would work for probation, but the sames rules may apply, I wouldn't try it though.
