Need suggestions for a flowering area

So I have an apartment and one of the bedrooms is set up for growing. I'm currently running clones out of a 4' x 4' space, but would like to add a 4' x 8' flowering area and convert my 4' x 4' into a veg/clones area. How could I go about splitting the room in half to make a dark room for the flowering plants? Keep in mind that I can't be too liberal with my construction work since I'm a renter. I'm medical too so it's not a paranoia situation...I can still do minor drilling into the walls and stuff as long as I fix it before I move out.

im looking for the same answer myself.....got split the room so i can go somewhat perpetual....just have to be really careful and make sure the flowering side is completely lightproof.....im also trying to do this relatively cheap....i was gonna go with drywall but was hinking it would be really messy and doesnt handle moisture well.....i might just go with insulating foam board and rig it up as walls....still not sure though.....what are your ideas?

i am in a condo and just pulled off a flower/veg tent. I used a 4x8 tent and a 4x4 tent. My ac and dehums were in the 4x8 tent. I used 2 6" fans to exchange air between the 2 tents. It worked like a charm. Check my sig for pics.

Tents are great cause you can breake em down really easy.

I had zero light leaks and issues.

Take my advice and use a pond liner in the room you are growing or where your food/watering room is gonna be. You can never be too careful. I went overkill on my scrubber and have a mister spraying ona every 7 min.

Cheers

Well the way I'm doing it I won't be able to prevent light leaks from my tents. Plus even sealed up they leak pretty bad so I'm avoiding that.

I also grow big plants so no go on the secret wardrobe cabinet.

I was thinking about mounting some dry wall to a 2" x 4" wood frame and buying some of those light trap vents so I can keep air flowing between both sides. Then what about buying some hinges and making a door too? I could probably fill the edges where my new dry wall would meet my bedroom walls with some insulation and foam sealant to make her perfect.

Yay or nay?
