Hi magilla guerilla,

Fortunately i weighed each plant individually for research purposes.
The one you can see last was 975grams ...
Quality smoke as well, creeps up on you slowly leaving you in a very positive & creative mood...
So anyone who says flo is a small yielder ,in my experience outside this is certainly not true....
big smiles

greendreamteam, the plants are productive, but take up mucho space. Did yours stretch out with long branches that were like seperate plants? I got two lbs off this plant but it had 13 stakes holding up all the long branches which were breaking under the weight.
Isn't that Flo smoke the best tasting? I love my flo buds they are my best this year.

From years of experience, you will likely have to go more than once to remove males. They will show at different times, so if you wait too long to try to get them all at once, you'll end up seeding your females with the early males. Or, if you try to get them all earlier, you will likely miss some late males and will pollinate everything.

It depends on the size of your crop. If it's only 10 plants and it's all the same strain, you should be able to get all the males at once (and remove anything that isn't a CONFIRMED female). However, anything over 50 will be very hard to get all the males at once. If you're growing a few hundred, you'll definitely have to go several times to weed out males. For me, I've gone three times minimum just to weed out males (out of several hundred plants and different strains).

I like the Mango however the buds are a lil leafy and the flowering period is quite long for an indica, it takes a good 10 weeks to finish. harvest in early Octobre, so you can count out that it starts to flower pretty early, but fortunately stretch a lot while the buds are gaining weight.

I wouldn't give any attention for my plants since planting till harvest, if it would be possible.. luckily there are a lots of good spots with humid micro climate where the plants doesn't need any watering under the Summer time.

just need a rich soilmix and some quality indoor strains, what is better to smoke than the outdoor genetics but just as hardy (I don't like the durban, early pearl, jamaican pearl, danish stuff, etc.)

peace

I'm going to run Afghani #1 this year. It's one of the hardiest strains I've come across. My feelings are it will be an excellent candidate for what you're trying.

Trust me. This strain somehow survived a buddy ''growing'' it for a couple months. This guy has a well-deserved reputation for killing anything he touches. The Afghani actually showed some growth under his thumb...That's saying quite a bit.

My only concern is how it'll hold up to mold.

hey guys how about some low maintenance strains for tropical climates? like a hardy sativa that doesnt require much attention?

I once grew "sativa slang" by what was sativa seedbank (was an an offshoot of nirvana seeds, but dont make seeds anymore?) it was an updated version of the "early girl" strain.
I only visited them about 7 times (harvest/dry in forest) used water crystals, and the rains were great. This is in hawaii so pretty tropical.

anybody know of any HARDY sativas? especially insect resilient, and just hardy overall. I need something that can kind of "grow wild" in the tropics. My plan is to find a perfect microclimate where it rains regularly and just sow the seeds, come back and harvest.
