Green Lung...stop now bro. You're trying to argue with this guy who is telling you the truth all because you want to be right. That's ignorant. Appreciate that he's trying to help you and go fix the problem. Your way is wrong, PERIOD.

Dude I'm not trying to be right man I am just trying to figure this out if it wrong its wrong I will do something else.

thanks agent smith,

green lung, i guess you can defy gravity as well?

so you were pushing cold air into your tent and sucking air out no shit it is gonna work, but its inefficient and you are not using the ac properly. I gave u the right answers the the right way to do it. just cause u spent time on some boxes and thinking it will do something, doesnt mean its right.

if i build an flux capacitor out of cardboard doesn't mean i can time travel, just cause i spent lots of time and effort.

read and educate yourself on how AC works.

google is your best friend.

He and I both told you how to correct it. My way is cheap but not efficient, his way is the correct way. If you really wanna do it right, sell that piece of crap and buy a mini-split.

i had a thread on how to correctly convert a single house portable ac to a dual hose, cant find it though...

ya regardless 1 hose or 2 hose, those portable suck ass big time, they are internally not sealed

better to build a fake wall/ window shaker and scrub>vent the hot air

or run a true sealed room and get a full air to air split, or settle with a mini split, or go water cooling

any venting risks getting robbed or busted, in BC at least. venting is stupid in my opinion, one day ur scrubbers will fail.

Here she is hooked up with the Ducts. kicking cold air here down in the sub- tropics

This a good alternative for those who already have a port A/C.

Just cause it works doesn't mean it's working correctly. Plus Green Lung, his is a dual hose A/C while yours is a one hose so at least his works more closely to the way it's supposed to as opposed to the attempt you made at it. LOL, I can't believe you're even arguing this when you have no clue "STILL" how an A/C works LOLOLOLOL

I know how an A/C works LOL, you guys copy and paste some shit off google. Of course I know its not as efficient as re-cooling the room air while pulling the heat out of the air, As A/C's are supposed to used in a regular situation. Yeah its not as efficient as factory specs that was obvious in planning, but sometimes you have to sacrifice effciency for security purposes right?

In perfect world I would have a minisplit co2

Would you rather have to cool your room enefficiently or lose all your harvest because of high temps?

no it will blow cold air, but you are not eliminating heat from the room you are trying to cool!!! Just adding cold air will not eliminate heat.

Read my posts again...all of them!!!

An AC system ABSORBS HEAT FROM THE AIR!!!

SO IF YOU ARE NOT DRAWING AIR FROM THE ROOM INTO THE AC, YOU ARE NOT ELIMINATING THE HEAT FROM THE ROOM YOU ARE TRYING TO COOL.
YOU ARE JUST ADDING COLD AIR, WHICH WILL GIVE YOU A HUGE HUMIDITY SPIKE AND WILL NOT WORK AT ALL.
?

See this is where you failed. I clearly stayed in my earlier posts that
Yeah I also have 450cfm blwer on top of a can fan scrubbing the room and also exhausting into the attic, so hopefully that will take care of the positive pressure.

.

Thats how I'm eliminating the heat from the room.

Do you get it? Is it as efficient at cooling a room as a minisplit or ect......obviously not, and I knew that from the beginning.

But I'll pay the extra $ for the 1000watts to cool the room, not a big deal really compared to fried crops if you ask me.

So you are exhausting the room with a fan and taking out the cool air before it gets a chance to do it's job?

WINNING!!!........

How do you choose only to take out the hot air with the fan?
Do you even think about what you say before you say it?
Who says I'll fry my crops without A/C that's hooked up like yours?
Your system sucks, plain and simple. If you even attempted to understand and work on it, we would have helped you figure out how to make it work correctly for your situation but you got all butt hurt and thought we were dogging you so you got offended and started flapping off at the mouth! Who wants to help you now?

I'm done argueing with you, lol, you're never gonna get it.......

Hot air rises genius. The same way I cool the room in winter, cold air comes in low, hot air is exhausted out high. simple no?

You guys seem to keep making a point that I already know and already knew from the beginning. Holy shit How many times to have to say I know its not the most efficent use of an A/C but its the best for MY situation and the ONLY option for MY situation.

Understand yet.......is it clicking yet?

LOL well just add that Portables DO WORK and dual hose units WORK Period..And Mini Splits etc do NOT work in the WIMTER so one needs to use these portables...!

Hey Green Lung does your ac have two vents in front? If not it could work better if you cycle the top back vent with the room. Unless you have central ac to pull from to pre-chill . I have window bangers with ducted boxes rocking. The front has 2 vents in front -1 in and out and -2 on the side (hanging outside) in and the big -1 in back for out. plants looking good keep it green
