eheh looks sweet!

Double thai from ACE Seeds there is some at seedboutique i think.

Genetics: Koh Chang Thai x Meao Thai. 100% Thai Sativa.

Double Thai is a F1 hybrid that combines the best Thai Sativas we have ever worked with. The mother is a first generation Thai from Koh Chang Island. The father comes from the latest highland Meao Thai selections (the most powerful and developed Thai we know). Double Thai is an excellent choice to experience the effect and taste of the best original Thais, with all the classic thai traits emphasized by the hybrid vigor.:blowbubbles:

Structure: Very bushy and branchy Sativa.
Bouquet: Citrus, spicy and woody.
Effect: Clean and euphoric.
Flowering period: 16-20 weeks.
Production/m2: Medium.
Growing: Especially recommended for outdoor growing in tropical and subtropical climates

more info in ace forum.

I would defo try growing this if I lived in a warm climate.

Old Mother Sativa is an Australian sativa that is believed to have come from Thai genetics... its the type of weed that when smoked has you questioning everything you have done and where are you headed... type stone... and the hash and budder from this stuff with leave you dribbling like a jacked moron for a good 15 - 20 b4 is settles into the normal sativa high

Old Mother Sativa!! Supposed to be one of the best sativas - over 50 yrs old if I remember. K +

The Wild Thailand can produce a keeper. There is a cut I can get here in Sacramento that chunks up nicely and goes about 14 weeks. I was told that the THC production is through the roof!

I never tried it myself, but alot of experienced growers from years past claimed thaitanic was the best pot they've ever had

Oh, I forgot to mention Grape Krush as a Thai hybrid. It has a purple thai in the mix and the high is unbelievable! For a 9 week strain it produces a great cerebral and body stone all in one. Personally it is my favorite strain. I wish I still had it :(

When I smoked my first Thai it was in the late 70s. It come on sticks tied on with hemp fiber. It was golden redish, like the color of cigarette tobacco with crystals. You could get them for about $15 which was a lot of money for how much you got in those days, but it was always a special treat when one of the guys pulled out the Thai. We would unwrap the string and fill the bong. Lots of coughing followed by periods of silence as we enjoyed the super buzz.

About 81 I started seeing chocolate Thai in San Diego. It was loose pot that was about the same as commercial Colombian. Frankly not that good. It had seeds and went for about $2k a pound. We could get pounds of it all the time it seemed. I was not convinced it was not Mexican looking back.

On a supossed wild Thai that 12 weeks has me wondering, anything called wild and 100% Sat from my expierience has never gone less than 14,most 16 or more. Take the wild out of it say like De Wee;s Dalat he worked on I still think his Dalat only got down to 14 weeks and still had some that went over 20 weeks. Who has worked this Thai to get it down to 12 weeks and get the notorious herms out of it.???? I don't believe there was a true Thai that didn't have herm problems that had to be worked out was just a fact with Thais....:bump:

the one i've been running from these guys is definitely not done at 11~12 weeks as the packaging says. 14~16 is when i chop now, it looks like it's getting done around week 11, but then you give it a few days and it starts kicking out a ton of fresh new white pistils and bulks up more, it might be able to go longer than 16 weeks but i haven't given it a chance to yet...

I was just about to order 2 packs of Wild Thailand, the description from WOS almost made my pants hard. But 14-16 weeks flowering under a single 250w hps, seems like a waste of time considering grams/watt. /me off to look for another sativa

the one i had pictured on the last page was grown under a 250 watt hps, for me it was well worth it. (i did have other plants under the lamp at the time though, so i wasn't waiting for so long for herb, just waiting so long for that 1 plant, so glad i did)

...Brings back great memories. After the Thai was gone--by 78, I think-- the next thing special was Hawaiian.

Hawaiian couldn't compare to the Thai stick.

If I were trying to recreate, indoors, the thai stick experience of the mid '70s--I believe I'd try the DG DTC99 first.
(Maybe as futile as trying to recreate the Columbian Gold experience; that's where I'm headed.)

I hope you do, and I hope I get dialed in on growing it inside.

I remember watching my plants soaring to the sky but never beating the frost!

I picked up a pack of Wild Thai a few months ago.... Not one popped. Gave up on them after two weeks, and ordered some VietBlack/Thai and GreenHaze/Thai. The VB/Thai, all ten popped just fine, 3-4 days. ;) I think the Wild Thai stock was old though.... :/

Ace seeds - uses a meao thai in several hybrids

MNS seeds - haze hybrids have some very thai dominant pheno's

CBG cannbiogen - destroyer is reported to be thai dominant

Cultivators choice - thai/haze x sk - is a thai monster

Motarebel - lemon thai - from dutch flowers stock

Gypsy nirvana collection - thai stick - kangativa is growing this one out n its 20ft if i recall n hasnt started flowering

The S.Easians/Thai has always intrigued me as im of the younger generation ,sadly not much pure stock is available

Agree with BigHerb, try Ace Old Timer's Haze x Thai for a nice old school strain. Would prefer long flower and outdoors to 35 degree parallel.
