Mountain Air Carbon filters

Battling some serious funk! Decided to try a Mountain Air scrubber . They are supposed to be the shit! Have a special carbon , that they have sole rights to or some bs. I will say it has a much better construction then can or phresh . We will see about the scrubbing......

Anyone else use one before? Anyone with any other thoughts?

as good or better carbon than phresh, but they use alot more by cfm rating, they will last alot longer... at a higher price...

my only concerned would be these 2 things does it scrub my room effectively and can I replace the carbon when I need to. If they do I dont care who makes it. I love my CAN HT-33 AND 9000. We dont have any smells here. Now I just need to quit the scrubbers a bit.

Great quality . Nothing is flimsy or shoddy . Heavy gauge metal used on the top where the fan attaches. The perforated metal sheeting is very well constructed. The interior has an extra layer inside to keep the carbon from falling out.

It's going in the room shortly , will get back on how it works.

So far very pleased with it's performance! Now to see how long it holds up.....

I have a 12x20 coming .Ive been told by a member on another board, hes used them for 2.5 yrs and 3 yrs.The size he mentioned is 14x40-105 lbs.He said he blows it in a livable area with zero smell.I guess ill let ya know as well. For now, heres some questions for you:

Is it capturing all the smell so far or a majority of it?
how big is your filter?
how many plants are you flowering?
are you running it constant or on/off on a timer?

Is the 3 years you mention in your personal experience?

i just started my indoor adventures, but i knao a circle of growers who wont use anything else... the filters they have are all 3-5 years old and still goig though 5 years is about it...

key to getting 5 years is never let air greater than 65% rh pass through it..

im going to pair a fantech fg 6 inch 300 cfm to it.the filter is rated at 550 cfm with a 12 inch opening.Ill go with a 12 x 6 reducer since the fan is the equivalent of the carbonair(ecoplus) 6 inch 550 cfm i shall see no problem with this pair

picked up the filter today and light as shit like a phresh.looks to be good build quality.every other filter i tried sucked.but in all fairness i havent tried monster filter only 40 lb equavilents. we shall see.hopefully chefro will get back to us on this since im got nothing on the go at the moment.
