Give me reasons to win my girlfriend over 1000w instead of 600w

I am trying to win my girlfriend over to buy a 1000w HPS instead of a 600w HPS..

So..

Why should I get a 1000w HPS instead of a 600w HPS?

I mean, 600w has a better watts to lumen ratio, but nevertheless 1000w has more lumens.

And because I am running straight electrical heating, it doesn't matter so much that the 1000w has a worse watt to lumen ratio; It would only be extra heating for me.

I cannot do two 600w despite the not so big power difference as I can only fit one lamp into my garden.

So all you 1000w lovers now is your time to blast!

A 1000 watter has more cutting power, it reaches further into the plant. No need to trim away the lower branches when using a 1000 because it penetrates down there and actually gives you dense buds. The lowest growth is still probably getting somewhere around 250 to 400 watts of light, which isn't the case with a 600 watter.

I don't understand why your girlfriend has any relation to what size grow light your going to purchase? Is she buying it for you? Does she pay the power bill?

Why even ask? Just go buy what you want.

Does she have to win you over on what color she paints her nails?

Ive often read that ,people using 600 watts ...say their colas are relativly the same size as when they are using 1000 watts..I just moved up to 1000 watts ,and with the addition of Great White and the extra watts ...Im seeing i big jump in the size of the colas..Several are getting baseball bat size ,whereas i would get that occasionally with the 600..Plus it doesn't cost hardly any more to run ....aside from a possible heat issue ....Is their really a choice?...

it all depends on how large is the growing space, amount of plants, and temp control. it has nothing to do with her decision and more with what your garden will allow.

Get a switchable ballast. My 1000 watt digital ballast can run a 1000 watter at 750 watts. This is the correct option. You can always crank that dial to 11 (literally) when she's too baked to notice.

all smart ass comments aside, what does the gardener think would be better and why? what is the price difference between the 600 and the 1000? get what you need/want the first time and you don't have to buy it again. the bill payer should understand that math. good luck
