Best Coffeeshops in Amsterdam?

Hi Guys,
What are the best coffeeshops in the historic centre of Amsterdam?
Coffe shops which are focused on quality and usually frequented and adviced by Dutch people...
Is it true that now just people who are residents in Holland can smoke inside or take marijuana away?

A few years ago I have been at " The Bulldog", in the Red Light District, and I found poor quality products, unfriendly clerks...
It was too much commercial!

Dampkring, Stones Cafe, Greenhouse is okay depending on day to day quality, Barney's is really expensive. Kandinsky is got some good NYCD, Grey Area has got some DNA Genetics on the list basically all the time, Amnesia on the Herengracht is also cool especially when you can sit outside.
Outside of the centre near the Albert Kuijp is Katsu, its my favorite spot in the dam.

Bout the unfriendly clerks and waitresses etc.. It depends a bit on when you come in the season, if its really sunny and busy, they will be in a lesser mood due to the large swarm of tourists taking over the city

The coffee shop with hands down the best menu is The Green Place.... I smoked 2/3rds of their menu when there a few weeks ago & the twizla hash was excellent and only 12euro a gram...

Menu: LA Cheese, SFVally Kush, Lemon OG, Green Crack, Strawberry Cheese, ****** OG + a few others i didnt try...

My two cents....GREY AREA, Bluebird, Dampkring, Club Media

The Grey area has excellant weed but its a place to buy n fly as the shop is very small. Also the lads have lets say a "relaxed" work ethic. (Think they open from 12-ish to 8 -ish.) But they really know what there talking about and always have a variety of fantastic weed. Prices are'nt to bad either.

Dampkring has a huge menue of weed and hash. Again excellant quallity. buyt always busy a a tad expensive for some varietys. Always busy.

Club Media. South of the city centre. Organic weed. Good prices. Local spot very very few tourists bother comming down here. What a shame.

For the finest collection of imported Hash anywhere in the world imo, check out the Bluebird

Get a train 15 minute train out to Haarlem (Hemp city) if you get a chance.

Never got anything but good stuff from the Grey Area. Little hole in the wall place with great stuff and a nice staff. Paccini chocolates right next door doesn't hurt either.

i havent been in the bluebird for like 10 years.
do they still have the couch and the big book with hash from all around the world? i would love to put that in my private library

voyager is new and next to central coffee shop.. top weed there and the best budder.. they have a hotel and are very cool people check them out.. bush doctor is good too for ice budder and good weed.. I recommend the strawberry sour diesel chemdaze and kuchi-gucci when they have it all good stuff

Media for me great prices, good selection,some top bubble hash at very good prices, organic, oldschool, and new strains, mainly locals good people that will make u feel welcome

420 Cafe was my favorite, excellent staff, great menu (NYCD, SSH), great prices and professional. Kudzu is also good if you're looking for some local fair and ice-o-later hash.

If you're ever up north in Alkmaar "Anytime" is one of the best coffeeshop experiences as well - extremely friendly service as it's typically frequented by locals. Free vaporizer hits!

The grey area, Free Adam, Bulldog and a few others were by-far some of the worst service I'd ever experienced. Grey Area was crowded and the bud-tender just walked out as soon as we walked in and didn't return for 10 minutes or so, he also seemed miffed at the fact that we wanted anything.

Just got back from a too short visit. I sampled Bulldog's SSSDH (nice crystals, spicy/sour aroma...uppity high but full of body as well.) I also tried grey area compressed thai bud for 5 Euro a gram. I liked it a lot. Fully in the head, a bit racy, light to mid effect. Properly cured would have been excellent.

Grey area and mellow yellow

Grey area consistently has really nice smoke, there chocolope is the shit. My buddy smoked a bong of it in there and people queuing up were even asking him about it

Mellow yellow has a nice coffee shop to chill out in. Its really big and they have a good menu. Try Topfloor if its still there. Maybe the nicest weed ive smoked in the dam. They have good prices too. I think it was like 7g of blueberry for 50e, maybe less

Abraskas has some really nice hash too

6 months ago and the rookery had smoke that was dried out way to much and too quick, it wasnt nice at all
The dampkring sold LA conf that hadn't been flushed properly and actually popped when you smoked it, I had to throw it away

Notice the clock on the wall at the grey areas is set to 4:20, depending on its day most of the aforementioned shops will have decent product, you just have to look around a bit and be friendly but fastidious before deciding to buy. I’ll stay away from the bulldog though, way too commercial and a bit of a rip off, GHS is not my thing either. Why not visit Haarlem as well; you might be surprised by the quality and price of product outside the big city centers.

i love the green house mainly cause there bud but the really treated me and my wifey who is wheelchair bound very nice ! the made room just for her sweet they had great cheese and super lemon haze !
