legislation of morality is by definition a liberal idea.

What's this, revisionist history class? You gotta chalk board? That's right, Falwell was a bleeding heart liberal:

The origins of the Moral Majority can be traced to 1976, when Jerry Falwell embarked on a series of “I Love America” rallies across the country to raise awareness of social issues important to Falwell.[1] These rallies were an extension of Falwell’s decision to go against the traditional Baptist principle of separating religion and politics, a change of heart Falwell says he had when he perceived the decay of the nation’s morality.[2] Through hosting these rallies, Falwell was able to gauge national support for a formal organization and also raise his profile as a leader. Having already been a part of a well-established network of ministers and ministries, within a few years Falwell was favorably positioned to launch the Moral Majority.
The Moral Majority was formally initiated as a result of a struggle for control of an American conservative Christian advocacy group known as Christian Voice during 1978. During a news conference by Christian Voice's founder, Robert Grant, he claimed that the Religious Right was a "sham... controlled by three Catholics and a Jew." Paul Weyrich, Terry Dolan, Richard Viguerie (the Catholics) and Howard Phillips (the Jew) left Christian Voice. During a 1979 meeting, they urged televangelist Jerry Falwell to found Moral Majority (a phrase coined by Weyrich[3]). This was also the beginning of the New Christian Right.[4][5]

That damn liberal Falwell.

you get the picture.
these are all expansions of government scope.
the plainest example of the true nature of our one party liberal expansionist system is the current executive's (and legislative's) complicity concerning the u.s.a.p.a.t.r.i.o.t. act.
repubs and dems alike voted to extend this awful piece of government power extension.
Yep, you're righter than the right wing of conservatives.

Disco, my disposition is only rotten when I am interacting with dipshits.
Do I seem to always have a rotten disposition to you?

I can play games with narrow minds. Do you feel gamed?

And just what makes you think the Republican party is my party?
Hehehehe. You forget how we met. I was laughing at a Bush joke and you cussed us like a sailor.

I know you're riding the fence. Sometimes it's hard to tea party and Rand knows what I mean. Sometimes it's hard to do the republican dance because it's, well... republican. And when you get done with both of em, you know going libertarian is even more out there.

So for the record, hoosier makes no rebuttal to republicans being a bunch of liberals. I can handle that. If there's right to the right of right. Be careful and don't fall off the edge.

I know how your type loves to make assumptions..about EVERYTHING really. And I understand why you do this...because you find yourself the authority on all things, and if it isn't in your book of tricks it is somehow bad for humanity.
projection

Thing is, you are way too smart by half.
I am a Conservative American, and don't you fucking forget it.
And Conservative Americans are all about less government intrusion, a strict adherence to the US Constitution, and above all the personal freedoms that man should be able to enjoy. All of which if followed is the clear path to all things legal and just in the cannabis world.

Explain the platform of the liberal, the socialist, the communist, the anarchist, or just about any other left wing faction...then see if their charter fits with personal freedoms.
Oh sure, the left wants folks to believe thy are the champions of all good causes, but it's phony shit IMO. In fact, the left fashions all of it's arguments around phony shit.
And in order for phony shit to be bought and sold, there requires a constituency that enjoys eating phony shit...although some have no idea what they are eating is excrement...
I won't forget you sit on the softest cushion at any given moment. And stick with the topic mr brilliant.

seems par for the valley girl course...

study civics then get back to me.

reagan and falwel were both liberal.
they were in opposition to the founding principles of limited government and state superiority.
they were both for the increase of federal scope and power.
the "revisionist" history is the one you have been spoonfed by the ministry of truth.

O.E.D. defines conservative as
"disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and to limit change."
does falwel's stance concerning government fit that?
nope!
he wanted to change the country from it's foundation as novus ordo seclorum into a semi theocracy. thats far from preserving existing conditions.
how about bush...
in your tiny little brain you think the one man who changed the country more than any other is a conservative who wanted to "limit change"?
yes the ministry has done a great job on you.

lets look at obama..
he has orchestrated much less change than his forerunner. making him by REAL definition more conservative.

i know this is the opposite of the double think you have been duped with.
but words do have meanings and conservative is not what sheepole like you believe it is.
then again you probably believe "neocon" means something.

keep playing red vs. blue while its really a big purple head servicing your account

Whatever the reasons, things are going in the right direction, at the right time.
It is already a misdemeanor to grow less than 5 plants no matter the size.
And I know that some of the larger city cops have been issuing citations for joint possessions, with no arrests, for years now.

Is this completely true? Could someone in Kentucky grow five 10+ foot tall plants & get charged a misdemeanor? Do they measure plants found and count the wet weight towards weight of marijuana possession? (ie the 8oz limit)

I've read 1st time offense for 5 plants is a misdemeanor, but anything over 8 oz (possession) is listed as ''possession with intent to sell'' which is a felony. (All this info is according to the law information on NORML).

My guess is they would pull up the whole plant, and weigh it with the rootball, and dirt attached and say you have 20+ lbs of cannabis from 4 plants.

Yo Tommy that was the perfect joke at the perfect time in my life, just wanted to let you know I laughed my ass off.

I'm from KY, and that sounds about right, but I suspect that is normal everywhere =)

And yeah, 4 plants is a misdemeanor here, 5 plants is felony. Doesn't matter what they weigh, they can try to be dicks and get you with an 'intent to sell' but any decent lawyer will be able to get you off on that.
(*edit)Before anyone takes this as legal advice, be aware that I am not in any way a lawyer, and was mainly speaking about first time offenders, anybody else who knows what will happen

And none of that really matters anyway.....because if you can't find a safe place in the woods to grow weed in KY you ain't workin hard enough! =)

We've been growing this shit since before CA was even found =)

Do you guys think that this decriminalization bill would have any effect at all for the growers in Kentucky? They talk about decriminalization, but my guess is it will only effect possession.

This is impossible. Since California voted no on prop19, all states and the world are starting beef up laws and re-criminalize cannabis. This must be a misprint *end sarcasm* :D

Great news Kentucky!
