Day 48 Pics

Here's tonites update on the girls. almost no leaves left on the Sensi Star, many many trichs are clear with some cloudy. Smells fantastic in there! Frostiest strain I've seen so far. I think I would like to re-run her with a good veg to get her established. you can see in the group shot, one of the clones was literally two leaves when she was put into the cab. She's about a foot tall like a little lollipop of goodness. They look sort of sad in my opinion but they seem to be putting on a bit of weight now. Lack of leaves and nothing to feed those buds from not sure whats going to happen now. The Aurora Indica is doing quite nicely and is kicking it into overdrive now seems to be filling in now and using up her leaves (she had dolomite in her soil), but she's still got a long way to go.

and as requested, the group shot. LOL sadness. cmon girls you can do it!

Day 57. Sensi Star is almost ready, probably another week at most. Aurora Indica will be a bit longer, maybe closer to 2 weeks. She has the most HEAVENLY grape-berry smells coming off of her mmm

Sensi Star gets the Chop

Sensi Star gets the Chop

Day 60. These girls smell rank! The yield will be abysmal, if we got an ounce or ounce and a half from 7 clones we'll be lucky. This will be stuff that gets pulled out on special occasions. Smoked a tiny bit of hash after trimming and got rocked. The flavor was pretty powerful can't wait to get a bit of this dried. Still waiting on the Aurora Indica.

here's some of the sensi star dried. I haven't felt like I had smoked "too much" at any one time until Sensi Star. I vaped some in a bowl and actually felt my face go numb, and was buggin my eyes. I was all twitchy and really really dumb... been a long time since I got that high. The flavour is strong, astringent skunk its pretty harsh on the throat right now, but will get better if it lasts long enough to get a real cure. I transported a nug today inside a zip lock, in an inside pocket in my my purse, that was inside an overnight bag stuck and buried in a days change of clothes and I could smell it quite easily through all of that. rank. will definately run this girl again. have a male blueberry in flower that would make a great cross.

and here is Aurora Indica, still blowing up at 70 days... don't think thats normal but she's still growing. figure another day or so.

Pretty much coming to a close here, not really a rockin thread. I learned an invaluable lesson. DO NOT FORGET THE DOLOMITE. I have now been smoking the Sensi Star for a week. Still pretty harsh, but is mellowing with time. Very High quality genetic for sure, as we had such crap results because of deficiency, but the smoke is still very potent. It makes me stupid, however I become motivated to do chores I hate doing for some reason so that's great. I can't function in public. My one trip to the variety store resulted in me gapping out and stuttering when I tried to speak to the clerk. Can really help ease oneself into sleep, but is usually followed by vivid dreams in my case. Flavour metallic astringent grab you in the back of your throat dankness. Smells lemon skunky metallic. Highly resinous, crystal coloured dense buds that break up big. Doesn't take much to knock you on your butt. I can smoke a lot to the point where my eyes start to really bother me and feels like my skin is crawling, but yet the next day I am not burnt out. Really nice plant that would do well in a crowded SOG as they were not particularly leafy. I will have to redo Sensi Star, I wasn't able to get a real assessment of what she is capable due to my massive fuck up.

I am currently smoking my first of the Aurora Indica. I am pleasantly surprised ) Smells like grape/incense/licorice. Tastes like heavy spice, incense, hashy with a berry sweet note to it. Highly resinous. Great body buzz and my torn rotator cuff that has been aching is completely numb. Not sure what a cure will do, but I don't think this is going to last very long LOL I will definitely retry Aurora Indica. Really unique taste I've never experienced before, and indeed I can agree this girl would make fine hash or oil. Buds were very light and airy and didn't get a great yield but again I think that's related to the calcium, and could have done well with a repotting before flower as she was an older plant that was pretty rootbound.

Sensi Star is more potent, I can overdo it with that one easily. I think the flavour is a little more my style, and buds nicer quality. But not knockin the AI its got such a nice sweet pipe tobacco smoke sort of smell and taste to it very exotic and unique at least to what I've had over the years. AI leaves me more brain functional too which is nice- dont have the same lapses in time where my brain pauses on me LOL
