Another thing to consider is that a lot of these trailers have a translucent roof top so you can see better during the day. Talk about a light leak....

Damn, VagPuncher, that is the shit, no kidding.

I could see that trailer, well insulated with that pink sealed foam board, and everything running off of a 2 phase 240 VAC (3 prong) 30 Amp drier socket. Many attached garages have the plumbing & power setup for a washer/dryer. Back That trailer in, chock & level it, make the connections, and you are in business. On top of which, not so remarkable that there would be a padlock on the trailer, either.

Well done. I'm hooked on the idea. :tiphat:

Probably been said, but throw some burners in there and seal it up, IMHO :tiphat: please keep us updated if you choose to take a stab at this, sir

ecurity lies in keeping your mouth shut as all grows are vunerable if someone knows about it...

Yup. But few people can hitch on to a second bedroom/basement and drive it away...

On the other side, few second bedrooms/basements can be moved immediately if there is a security breach.

I love this idea.

for the purpose of having a grow-pod on wheels, it's perfect... I would go as far as to say it's bulletproof. Vag just wants to be able to get everything out in 15mins w/o having to tear down should there be an inspection or some bullshit... Just make sure everything is secure/not gonna fall everywhere when you pull that beast out of the warehouse. :D I love it... Worth the investment to go from one warehouse to the next w/o having to rebuild.

Why not get a mobile home? Those can be had cheap as well, probably come with ducting, electric, water...

If I didn't know before, now I know what a "covetous and lustful heart" means!

Just armchair quarterbacking here, but the battery backup for your filter sounds like a good security investment. Just because a landlord will propably be there for less than an hour, doesn't mean it will always be so. If nothing else, line up a temporary safe place where you can just wheel it in and plug into a ready outlet for extended stays without skipping a beat.

Good luck, man!

I would like a Winnebago tricked out. I could go on Furthur tour and still run a hands on grow.:chin:Maybe burritos as well.

I know somebody running 3 trailers on one property all next to each other, 3k each. Scares the shit out of me personally, although I can't quite seem to put my finger on why.

Sure it would work but you would need to have exhaust too. That plus the extension chords would make it kind of obvious I think. Also your rights to privacy are even less in a car compared to a house.

Only thing that I can think of that might be a hitch is registering it with DMV. You might want to check and see how often you would have to register it and is it required to bring it to DMV to do so.

If someone driving off with it is a concern get a tire boot like the city uses.

i like it, but how does one go about watering the 200 plants in soil and deal with runoff? You can't really tend to them either or check for mold etc.. Or can you? Didn't study the pics properly.. cool idea :)

Ill build a wall at 10 feet and close it off. I'll have a small door to get in to the grow room. To cool, I'll have 1 or 2 window banger AC's.

If it's light tight I can just leave the trailers back doors open to vent the AC's in to the warehouse and scrub the air in the warehouse.

Just like this:

the trailor idea is cool but being a stadium grower

the trailor idea is cool but being a stadium grower

6.5 is a minimum width when it comes to a 10 shelf stadium. 6 feet will be tight. unless you switch to 4 shelves per side with bigger plants and netting to help keep the room narrow..

id consider cube trucks, they are cheap and dont require a truck to tow away..

a buddy grows in 53 foot reefers.. slotted stainless and aluminum floors for easy cleaning. already insulated and light proof. ac included and it runs off diesel... the reefers coolng can be downsized and lights can be ran off the same generator in case of outdoor storage or whatever. buddio buries the elec wire and runs it up into the trailor inside the leg post.... for stealth.. you would never know even standing next to it... with the option of 4 padlocks also helps..

trailors and containers have been huge for people who dont have indoor space for bigger gardens..
buried containers are by far the best of the best..

good luck ill keep checkin back..

First off this is an amazing idea, I cant wait to see what becomes of it, so please continue to post your progress. Here are a few random ideas that popped into my head that I figured I'd throw your way.

* If you can make it 100% sealed, all you would need is a couple battery powered cfl's to keep it 'daytime', and you could move it so easily.

* What about some sort of bungee chords holding the pots to the walls as well as sitting on the shelves. That way in case you hit a pot hole or jumped a curb and swayed the trailer they should stay in place.

* I love the idea about having the electrical and exhaust going out the bottom. If you built a large enough exhaust do you think you could get away without the AC's? It would be nice to build some big silencers on the exhaust as well to hopefully keep the sound more manageable.

* Maybe you could buy a bunch of crappy electric mowers, and electric weedwackers, any any other rechargeable tool your "business" might use and have them all plugged into a dummy charger setup. Get a welder as well.

* Try to find a warehouse that is not attached to another one, in case your trailers brought the warehouse ambient temperature up suspiciously high.

* If you had a large enough utility room in the front, you could install a 55 gallon drum or two and pipe in a blumat setup similar to Lazyman's so you would have to open the trailer and let out smell less often

* I would think about scrubbing the trailer, as well as having a standalone scrubber inside the warehouse. Usually a landlord will give you significant notice, if your plan was to keep the trailer inside, I would just turn off the HID's for the day and only run cfl's so everything cools down and you can turn off the ventilation. Meanwhile scrubbing the warehouse itself. Just opening and walking in and out of your room will let out a lot of smell once you have 6-8lbs of danks growing :)

Hopefully at least one of these ideas helps in some way.

no shit it will work!!

thats the same reason people use semi trailers.... this is just on a smaller scale, same idea.
just more affordable and for smaller shows.

drop power through the bottom behind a wheel or near the axle for easy concealment.

good insulation is a must!!

fuck ya water cooled heat exchanger!!! water cooling all the way!! sealed is the way to go for stealth and secuirty!! the only way to grow!!
