What's new

When renting, does it seem suspicious to ask to change the locks?

Hey GW hope the search is going better, you WILL need some other form of income for sure, a 600 AND growing from scratch won't cut it, trust me, I'm going through it all now & praying to the gods even w/2,800 flower watts............ It's tough, takes 1/2 year, and costs way more than you would think. Even with my 2nd job that pays decent.

Just wanted to suggest one thing though that might help you out, if you can't afford any more lights you can do the poor man's flip flop, manually switching 2 sets of plants from a dark room to the flower room EVERY 12 hr's. That was my plan luckily a friend had another 1K laying around that just needed a bulb.

Oh, and if you are going through with this........ pop as many beans as you can RIGHT NOW.

Hey man thanks for inquiring. The search isn't going anywhere at the moment, and the beans I popped already are doing really badly under the led's I bought. I switched to a t-5 lamp and am hoping that will help. My growing situation just plain sucks here I desperately need to get a place where I can hook up my hps.

That being said, I appreciate the suggestion, but I'm just going to run the one light. That will give me at least 600 grams every 2 months (I'll be shooting for 900 though). That's enough to pay the bills and have a little on the side to play with. I also got a part time job though. Very part time. But it will help in the meantime.

But my big goal is the great outdoors this year. Gonna be fun.

When I rented...I ALWAYS had the locks re-keyed and never told the landlord. Not one time was there an issue--I even added double deadbolts on the front & back doors (drilled the hole and everything).
