weird splotchy leaves on my chem cut's

hey all. hope all is well around the world. i currently have some chem plants that have this weird deficiency that i've never encountered before. just wondering if anyone has seen this before while growing in coco (or not).

using soft tap water at about 80ppm plus-
sensi cal/mag grow
pro tek silica
cannazyme
canna coco a+b
ph at 5.8-5.9
plus rizotonic as a folier spray

ppms reach around 800-900 and the plants look great other than these random splotches. my guess is a cal/mag deficiency but im wondering im possibly its a ph problem and could possibly need a flush.

how much calmg/gallon? what is the ph of your run off?

never checked the ph of my runoff. it's my understanding that this is not something to necessarily monitor. im using half a tsp per gallon.

the only reason i ever started using the cal/mag was because of some deficiency that started popping up but im wondering if maybe i still need more cal mag? the curled leaf in picture two is something i had noticed in a more advanced cal/mag def( displayed in the pictured below)

Hum, I have heard that the chem may have the mosaic virus, I have no first hand knowledge of this and thought it was a tobacco plant disease but it may be something to look at.

this genetic has been around for some time now amongst my friends. is this something that would just spontaneously occur?

it's your soft tap water. soft water kills plants so i've heard. never tried but seems correct. plants don't like too much salt and soft water system does require salt. use the water source like your backyard tapwater.

ive never had a problem with my water before and have been growing at this same location for a year now.

Looks to me like your foliar spray is too strong. That Rhizotonic is potent (and isn't it made for the root zone?).

You look to be burning them. Could be lockout which makes it look like a Mg issue. The burnt tips say its a toxicity or lockout of some sort. Is your runoff pH and EC in check? You make no mention of your runoff or temps.

I was getting runoff of 6.2-6.4 and I was noticing leaves starting to twist up. Ran 5.4-5.6 though it for the next week and it went back to normal. pH can really screw coco grows up if not kept in check and you let the salts build up in the medium.

Or like analogue said, the foliar spray is too strong. Never used or don't know much about that stuff though.

yeah i dont really know why people realy even bother with foliar spraying adult plants. waste of nutes imo.

Nrmal PH issues generally cause the points of a leaf to point down, however yours are cupping up.

I usually use 5ml/gal for cal mag (1tsp). i cut it back to 3ml/gal in flowering.

Check your run off!!!!

rhizo is much more expensive to water with as appose to a foliar....

I don't know about the curling, but i get those light brown spots (kinda looks like they're light bleached) when i don't rince my coco well enough. When i water with a lot of runoff it stops in a few days. So some sort of nuteburn sounds plausible, perhaps excess K?

Generally looks like a Mg def to me, common in Coco. Try a foliar with Mg/Epsom salts(+spreader), i wouldnt bother with the Rhizo foliar at this stage of growth, its a waste imo. If i was worried about a salty medium id leach & re-apply at normal EC(straight away after leaching). Checking the Run-off PH may help to give some gauge, although not 100% diffinitive, your gonna get some idea if theres a problem, id check the run-off as standard every other day myself.
What is your target EC man?

I wouldnt dissmiss TMV/or similar in this strain, as it progresses you'll soon see if its that. blotchy leaves sorta makes me wonder! The way the leaves are cupping points to Mg imo.

ill try the Epsom salt on one infected plant and see what becomes of it...
