Ive been shaving my head ever since I starting fight MMA, LOng hair just dont work to well with training and fighting, but man do I miss my long hair. Wish I had it right now id keep me warmer in this cold ass rain

Yea there's nowt wrong with a slaphead! lol
ive had one for the last 15 years,
its just so easy in the morning a quick shower
then dry in less than a min cause you don't have to mess around with a big bonce full of hair in the mirror! lol
Just shave down to the wood every week or 2 with the clippers..

Back in the 60's (yeah I'm an old fart) I was 4 yrs old we lived on a military base my Mom took me to the base barber shop which was very busy. Needing to pick grocery's from the commissary she left while I waited till it was my turn. Then I climbed up in the little booster seat and forgot what kind of haircut I was suppose to tell the guy so I looked at the sailor next to me and told the guy "just like that". Well the look of SHOCK on my poor dear Mom's face as she saw me with a CREW CUT. I'll never forget it, she cried all the way home.
I've been a long hair about 10 years now. I love it. Don't think I'll ever go back. Was high and tight most of my youth, but I find it so much easier now to just throw it back in a ponytail and get 10-12 inches cut off once a year for a locks of love donation. My wife prefers it long, and most of the time it's longer than hers. I think she's jealous of my locks.
The clogged drains do suck though.

My hairline doesn't really suit short hair but my hair is so thick it looks retarded if i grow it out. I need to have sort of shaggy medium length, kinda messy but clean. Probably in the 2" region.
Most hair products just don't work at all, some wax works ok but can get gross. I actually find strong hairspray works the best on mine...

I was a product of the 60's. I wanted long hair when I was a kid but my mom wouldn't have any of that. One day she sent me to the barber on my own. I told him, "just a trim," when I hit the chair. Got home and my mom asked me what I'd done with the money she had given me.
The next time she sent me to the barber, I played it the same. "Just a trim," I said. The barber went to work. He finished up and I was shocked when I looked in the mirror and saw my new butch.
"I said I wanted just just a trim..."
"I know," the barber replied. "But your mother called just before you showed up and told me what SHE wanted."
