Do any of you run fox farm nutes?

Have you tested PPM with the 1tbl big bloom and 2 tsb tigerbloom?

Also i heard it makes the ph go down to 4.2, should i get some ph up to balance the water at 6.5?

I have used FF nutrient. I don't use ppm but EC. I use it in general at about half of what is on the schedule to get to EC 1.0

The pH depends largely on your water supply. You should have some vinegar on hand to lower pH and just add more of your tap water to raise it (or buy some pH up).

I do... & yes Fox Farm dumps the ph to a really low level. To compensate I use either PH up or a little Peruvians seabird poop to raise it back to the proper level. Freeze dried seaweed also werx for me.

Sorry Cheif, I was typing back in the chat as you left - I got a little preoccupied with bean shopping!

I don't think I ever got my FF nutes down to a 4.2, but it's definitely hit the 5's before with Tiger Bloom - it's really acidic stuff. All said and done - pH up is cheap, and only takes a tiny amount to get it back up where it needs to be.

Never ran a EC or TDS meter when I was using FF, so I can't give you an estimate on what the PPM would be.

That being said - I don't think you can go wrong with the FF line. I used their entire line-up -Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom,Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, and Cha-Ching or whatever it's called. I hear they have a new product out too now, can't say anything about that as I never used it.

Fox farms does not bring PH low enough for some. Invest in a ph meter or even some test strips and you will see a world of difference.

Fox Farms TB def makes your ph plummet. Listen to these guys and get a meter for sure.

ive talked to a buddy on chat by the name of Jiggly whompus...

Ive decided on using this tea for veg:
1tsb kelp meal (per gallon)
1tsb molasses (per gallon)
1tsb ewc (per gallon)

to bubbled 24-48 hrs in a 5 gallon bucket with air stones.

for flower its:

1 ml ej grow
1.5 ml age old bloom
1/2 tsb jamacian or indonesian bat guano
1tsb ej bloom
1tsb ej catalyst

still gonna use FFOF soil tho.
