Awesome! I've been sketching plans for a airpot,coco/perlite,blumat tree room for a little while now. Just seems like a really stable and low maintenance way to grow compared to the dangers of fast hydro. How are you liking the air pots with blumats? What size air pots are u using? How many blumats per site, and are you using the regular ones or the maxis?

Thanks for sharing, looks like a great place to be!

hey MGT

this is definitely the way to go if looking for low maintenance, i only get to my girls every 2 days and as long as you keep the blumats in check (make sure they dripping, not running off and draining a rez on you) it is an awesome way to grow!

i'm rocking 3 gal air pots right now, probably should have went with 5g but originally i was gonna run more plants, smaller size then things changed lol

3gals seem to be working though, i imagine that the coco will be solid roots by the time im done but its all good just gotta make sure you keep em watered well and they dont mind.. with the smaller pots im just gonna really have to make sure i tie up my plants for support so they dont get top heavy and go over into the lights

i'm using the regular blumats and some pots have 2 drippers others just have 1, for the 3 gals 1 is all you need for sure but when I killed a few males instead of taking out the blumat i just put the extras in another pot. as long as you have the blumat dialed in properly the pots with 1 dripper keep the coco just as wet as the ones with 2

No new pics til later this week but just wanted to let you guys know that I will def have to tie these up ASAP

today i had a few colas already leaning towards the ground on me had to zip tie em to another branch and i havent even started to really put on weight yet.. im stoked :D :D :D

not a big update but finally gaining some weight, these things stink so bad and are so frosty... thanks for the killer genes rez :thank you:

ive got some yellowing on leaves that are real close to the 1k's, is this light bleach? or a N deficiency? either way buds growing killer just not sure about the yellow spots close to the bulbs (the rest of the plants are super green)

actually think the yellow may be calmag, when looking at pics in full size i see some rust spots starting.. ill hit em with magic green and up calmag dose a little to hopefully stop the spread

Just found this one GTD......Looks like the blumats are workin out for yas.........If that was light bleaching/heat stress the leaves and colas would be whitish/lack of pigment and scorched looking , not yellowish.....

When I ran clone only Chem D`s in coco DTW , they were bigtime cal/mag hogs and it looks like that particular pheno`s lil further along swellage wise than the rest , thus why she`s yellowed off and in need of more than the others.....but.....

There`s a fine line between the plant cannabilizing itself of N like during the fade/flush late , and needing cal/mag supplements to continue.....

You runnin R/O or tapwater in your rez`s .....Anyways.....the yellowing 1`s a keeper from what I see , and will prolly finish before the others as well , and that`s a good thingy for Chem`s that normally take at least 10 weeks to be properly done.......

Keep up the killer work....DHF.....:ying:....

hey DHF

thanks for the words of wisdom, def need it this is my first go at the chemdog...

yeah i'm rocking RO water and adding calmag but lately its been 1-2 ml/gal probably need a little more

DHF

How many weeks in flower are they GTD.........If only 4 or so , up the cal/mag to 5 ml per gal and taper it off after week 6/7-ish......

Good luck Bro...DHF....:ying:....

Looking very nice gtd. I have to ask, what are the goggles on the wall in the pheno 5 pic for? Are you staring at your bulbs again?

Hey Dub,

Lookin real good, this is similar to something Ive got in the works. I am going to do 4 columns of 2 600's in a diamond pattern. 50/50 coco perlite with blumats and possibly an automated top drip as well.

Is that threaded rod used to hang your A/C? What size fan did you use to vent the a/c box?

Looks like nice craftsmanship as far as the room build goes, cant wait to see these ladys finishing up. Better get some plant yo-yos or start tying branches up stat!

somewhat bad news... a plant fell over while i was gone and damaged a couple plants. I saved them and got em all tied up but probably will sacrifice a little yield because of my own stupidity

i kept telling myself i need to tie these up but procrastinated, next time i know better.. lesson learned

yeah go for the blumats, they make my life so much easier not having to bend down to water each plant every time and also if you have a power outage they will still water.. great investment

yes those hold up the a/c, i made a suspended ledge to set the ac on to cut down on vibration and noise transferring to other rooms in the house... i use 2 10" valuline fans on a speed controller, works great so far

Thanks for the update Bro........So they`re 8 weeks in by now and prolly in need of 1/2 strength nute flush ta try and let ppm`s drop so the plants can start ta cannabalize themselves and leach the nutrients built up in em for the fade and finish in the next couple weeks or so IME........

I see some small issues , but overall they`re bangin ass healthy.....Killer job.......

I ran some Chem D`s 11 weeks in 1 room back before shutdown and it was instant knockout weed......heroin on a stick........

How long yas gonna take em Dub....?....

Good luck Bro.....DHF...:ying:.....

hey bro, yea i had a few problems a long the way.. this is a run of firsts, the room, vert, h&g, chemd but im happy with the outcome so far.. the next run will just be that much better

i find h&g coco to be a little high on the N, some phenos dont seem to mind though.. also i was following the schedule at first but even the normal is way too high of a dosage.. i dont like to go over 7.5ml a&b, after i went to 8-8.5 had a little burn so had to back off

going to take them somewhere around 70-72 days probably, maybe a week longer if needed :tiphat:

i have never seen a centrifugal fan wrapper so tight and neat! my vortex is lucky if it sees a piece of duct tape wrapped around the seam...

love what you're doing in here...looks peace

whats up craven.. yea i guess im a little anal when it comes to the room

stop back in ill update when closer to chop
