My NYLD was the earliest thing i have ever harvested, i believe it was at 52, it wasnt 100% mature, but prolly would have been by day 60, it was also stunted severely which made them grow faster, i would suspect all phenos to be done 60-70 days.. I was VERY impressed with the smoke after only 50 something days, if you look through my long ass thread you will find budshots of the really early harvested NYLD...

Im so anxious to see these mature!

UPDATE!

Ok so everything is looking good, except one of the onyx's that happened to be too close to one of the Cfl's.... so two of the leafs are kinda burnt, i hope she bounces back alright

or if not i hope its a male that will go anyway... the leafs that were burnt are really dry, i could just press my fingers on them and they would crumble

so anyway its getting closer untill the new setup takes over...really can't wait ...

I was thinking of doing some LST work too.... I figure it would be a good plan to pollinate multiple top buds for the quality of the seeds.

When abouts do you people start the LST?

Lookin great bro!!! I usually start LST when they are strong enough to be bent over and arent fragile anymore... hope this helps...

I found the majority of the nyld that i grew out doors went 70 - 75 days but it was the perfect smoke for me... most weed including sativa strains give me massive paranoia... this strain had me and my step brother laughing our arses off at a TV show I cant even remember... I didn't cure it properly so it tasted like arse but it honestly was one of the smokes i consider to be perfect for me

wait till i get the OMS x NYLD cross to fully auto its going to be great and you are going to love it and 20/4 you know you are one of the very few I consider worthy enough to give a grow

it is Old Mother Sativa x auto NYLD

it will be a 100 day auto but will blow most of whats out atm out of the water for yield and mold will not be a problem with this creation

Also i saw some signs of males/females will look into that further the coming days when i expect everyone to be ready

lol.. one seed never broke soil during the first week since i planted the seedlings.. I then used that soil for the other Nyld, and look what I found in the middle of the grow bag of a nyld.. I tought i got ridd of the seed, haha that motherf*cker is alive!!

I had a closer look earlier today, i spotted 3females and 4males... the rest will show in the next 2-3days im sure

lol crazy!! I had one of the CFLS off the timer so it was running continuously trough out the 20/4 switchoff i just noticed that last night and plugged it off asap..........

It's been like that for 2days and two of the males started shooting out females pistills, im almost glad it happened...

cause i was planning on using one of those males for breeding but now im ridd of them and the rest are now proven to be sexually stable......

remember guys theres always something good coming out of a mistake....


On another note, im not quite sure wether im going to breed an Onyx or NYLD male towards the Onyx & NYLD females... what you guys recon?

Im leaning towards onyx frankly because they seem to yield more, but i o have an Nyld with a beautiful structure..

will have to decide later ofc when i can tell the smell off the males better off... either way a diesel dom male seems like a really option for me...

im not to sure which will yield more out of the onyx or nyld the reason being is nobody has pushed that nyld to her limits, iirc i think cheesey said 1 of his guys did pull 4 oz off 1 that was grown in hydro but i could be wrong, id deffo like to see what could be achieved with the nyld under the right conditions

as for the onyx well it has been around a bit longer and people have had more time to play with that strain so there are many diaries that show you what she is all about

tough 1 to call but i think crossing the onyx into the myld may improve her size with the added benefit of the ak47

NYLD = Better potency, better taste

Im sure my NYLD would have weighed more, but i dont think they would have hit the 35 grams i got off my onyx heavyweight!

Cant wait to see some pictures of them flowering, weird male parts showed up so easily, i had never had my NYLD or ONYX push out male parts...

couldn't agree more. Both strains are amazing and i mean either way i do it i basicly have a nyld x onyx cross anyway, depends on which one i want as the dominant.

It's toobad there's not much to see out there yet of the NYLD's.... the pics from the test run looked awesome,

im sure they yielded craaazy in a hydro setup but it much seems like every strain grown well in hydro with a good pheno yields watermelon buds lol

my theory is kinda like if they yield big in soil then you know for sure what they're made of

but im still having my doubts that they wont pack 40g+ as said in the description.. well see

Update sandnut! This is the point of all auto grows where im very anxious to see how they begin to take off.. did you get the light ordered? Also will they be transplanted soon?!...Seems its about that time

different stuff going on were giving me a hard time, things you don't expect to happen do when you least expect them.. that's life right


Yup new stuff comming in about a couple of days.. i figure they wil do in veg lights till then, they are still at those stages in terms of need of light spectrum...


woah also did LST on some of them today, lol i love it, its so much fun the whole concept of designing the structure of them... and see them grow just the way you want them to...


people should take this opportunity an do that more often
