Here is a picture of them today, just before I topped them all.

The nutrient burn is still creeping along a little bit on a couple of them, but overall they look pretty good. I will be making a screen pretty soon, I haven't decided how high above the pots I will make the screen, I am thinking somewhere in the 8-12 inch range.

All of my plants look really similar thus far, with chubby leaves. It seems like I got all ice leaning phenos instead of grapefruit.

They are getting bigger :) I will be transplanting 4 of them into the air pots and installing the screen sometime over the next couple days. I will be making the switch to 12/12 fairly soon as well. After topping them all it seems that 3/5 got (2) tops, 1/5 got (1) top, and 1/5 got (3) tops.

I put them into their final pots as well as getting the screen put into place, things are coming together pretty nicely.

Unfortunately one of my plants also showed some burns/deficiencies that I cant quite diagnose yet, if you feel like helping stop by my infirmary thread: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=203778 (ignore the first few posts, I remedied that problem)

what is your plan for watering, and drainage? do you just leave the plants in tent or do you have to remove the screen and take care of that?

I plan to attempt watering with very little or no drainage, each pot is sitting in a little tray that can probably hold about 1 liter of drainage.

I am hoping I can get away with not removing the screen and pots as this would probably mess up all of the training.

These pots are actually the rootbuilder 2 pots, they seem just like knockoff air pots that were much easier to source, and a bit cheaper. I got them from greners.com here: http://www.greners.com/root-builder-4.html (although it looks like the price got raised a bit since I bought them)

tr1ck,

nice looking scrog setup you have going on.

before you get too deep into your training, you might want to consider moving your screen up a few inches so you have som room to operate. Based on the pics, and I might have interpreted this wrong, but it looks like you dont have access on the other side of the screen?

Another 4-6 inches will make your scrog much easier to deal with. Watering, trimming, training, insect/pest inspection and management are all easier with more room under the screen. Based on wherer your light is at, it looks like you have plenty of room to work with.

just my .02$worth

good looking grow, should provide a nice yield for you

woops, likes like you have 4 sided access with your tent. I still love to have room. In my scrog, 3 of the plants were smaller so I raised them up to the screen, probably 8 inches below the screen, and they are a nightmare to deal with in all aspects. The other plants that have 18-24" under the screen are soooooooooo much easier to maintain

Thanks for sharing your grow tr1ck, I just purchased a lot of the same equipment as you to start my own grow! It's smaller, DR60 and 250w ballast, but I'm hoping my plants turn out as pretty as yours. Good luck, I'll be watching!

First off thanks for the reply and tips, I have been going back and forth on where to run my screen. At first I was going to go with 12 inches, but then due to a few recommendations I switched it to 8 inches. I think I will now end up going with 10. I will give the plants a good trim as they go through the stretch so I don't think I will have problems with them.

You will be more than happy with a DR60 and a 250w. Since I am only growing for personal use, I decided I probably got a little overzealous and went too big getting the 400. I think I would have been just perfect with a 250w which would be nice for heat reasons. If you haven't already checked it out, I highly recomend you check out VerdantGreen's 250 watt grow. He pulls some amazing nugs from his setup! Click here to check it out.
