Critical Mass Vert: 6 site RDWC in 4x4 tent

Looking great bro; was debating whether or not to throw a screen in my rig and I think you've convinced me to get off my ass and do it :)

Hey MGT you said on page 3 that you would not use the uniseals again and I was wondering what you plan to use instead of them? I will be building another 6 site system in the near future and I think I am going to copy this setup. I just ordered some Critical Mass and I am already running the exact same nute lineup as you are, well I am for the run I just started.

I just found the uniseals to be a pain in the ass to work with. The force required to insert 1.5" pvc into a uniseal made me feel like I was going to compromise the glued up joints in my pvc. And they are nowhere as near reliable as a traditional bulkhead fitting, which is what I will use in the future. This place has a great selection of traditional bulkheads to check out:

The one caveat being that Uniseals work on curved surfaces like the walls of 5 gallon buckets, traditional bulkheads require a flat mating surface, i.e. the bottom of the bucket instead of the sidewall.

I plan to do a six site veg room but I have to ask how in the hell do you tend those back plants in a 4x4? I am hoping 6x6 will be big enough for me.

Day 34 of 12/12

Ok update time. So things are getting stinky and they are drinkin deeply. It's very clear I built the screen too small for a 600. Fans on the inside are drying and bleaching. Don't be alarmed by how they look, the leaves outside the screen are the picture of perfection so I'm sure they are fine. The buds are lovin it so I'm not too worried. Next time I'm going to use a 30-36" screen. Lesson learned. One interesting tidbit is that the bleaching and drying began to happen the day after I did a reservoir change, but had to leave out the silica blast cause I ran out and need to go get some. No understating the resilience added by the silica.

Ok here's a few quick snaps to satiate the rabid lurkers...

Wow, lookin sweet, looks like it's still going to turn out real nice even with the smaller screen, less yield but the nugs you do get are going to be monsters..

I have never used silica blast or like products, maybe I should look into them...
Looks like you are going to be very busy trimming and managing buds for the rest of the ride!! Keep up the killer work..
