I think all in all its really up to the growers preference and drive, and again like I mentioned I'm a hobbiest and have been since I was little measing with rc cars.

Yeah I have to perfectly agree with you regarding the hobbyist part.

Over the years I have seen many grows, most were commercial ones and I'd say 9 out of 10 of those were soil or coco.

But yeah if one does it as a hobby and likes the challenge and tinkering then Hydro seems to be the way to go.

You certainly are doing a great job, that's for sure.

Id like to be on a mini commercial scale if that make any sence,I wouldn't mind having a 4 car shop and 10k worth of hps and mh over monster rdwc trees in modular systems on casters to wheel from veg to bloom with ease maybe like heath style gettin 50+ oz per plant 6 plants blooming at all time perpetual like. Aaaaahhhhh dreams.

Im thinking about giving her a go next run, any ideas on containers for something like that?

Also I found a little slippery spot in my res and I havent drained and refilled for a bit so I'm doing it today,i picked up some H2o2 to run in it with just sensi and cal mag for a few days them add aquashield back in.

I look back at my last run and saw I was mixing it at 10ml per gallon sound about right?

Well I thinking fuked at least 2 of the lvpks,I flushed and refilled and added H2o2@10ml/gal and the 2 closest to the res are droop as fuck and the other 2 feel like there on they're way to doing the same I added nutes back in thinking it was due to just plain water for a few hrs but I'm thinking its the H2o2.

Soooo stu you might ahead of me real quick.

I drained about 5-7 gallons and refilled with fresh ro so the only thing I can do is wait and worst comes to worst I'll have to start over with something else cuz I don't have any rooted cuts at the moment.

Damn sorry to hear. I don't have any experience with H2o2, so I don't know what direction to point you in. Might I ask why you add the C2o2 to the rez?

What I do know is that the LVPK can take a beating. So keep with it and I'm sure she will swing back.

edit: ekk pics don't look good. They'll come back.

Well my res looked kinda hazy and smelled un fresh and I felt slight slime, the H202 will kill anything bad growing in there,I've used it before at the same dose and didnt have a problem.

But we'll see how they do,I'm draining more water to dilute it further so .lets cross our fingers eh.

Just drain it all and put them in fresh water for the rest of the night. Add nutes in the morning

Good to hear they came back around.

You just left them in RO for a bit with out nutes?

stu :joint:

A good 24hr flush every two weeks really does the ladies good, I use Clearex in the water and PH it to 5.5. They have more than enough nutes stored in their leaves to handle a day or two off, also the plants like to suck up the sugars and knock the salts out of their root balls.

Yup Yup drained all the pump would get and refilled with plain ro water, there's still a ppm of nutes in there but greatly diluted. They all look this morning there was a few crispy leaves so I pulled em.

I'm thinking another week and flip,I'd really like to wait til I have the 4k controller hooked up because I can't run all the lighting I have.

So a flush after being in 12/12 for a week would be idle. Before switching over to bloom nutes?
