There is nothing else you should order besides guerilla gold given the description of your growing season and light cycle. That is the ultimate severe conditions outdoor strain bro.You will be the hero of your area. Also, the only one prolly you should have gotten from female is the easy sativa but I have only grown the guerilla gold and it is stelar.

Stuck with autos ? I dont think so "IwannatokeNbone" ! A couple of years ago i lived only about 170 km south of where i live now and i had no problems of getting "normal" strains to finish before the autumn came to hard. But i have to say that these xtra 170 km make a hell of a lot difference. HFH do they only sell their seeds through Seedbay or can you get them elsewhere ? And Goyakla, how long did Ata tundra flower for you ? I wonder because i´ve read some that it can flower for very long not the 45 days as it is said on the info.

And i have to talk a little of the autos because the reason i dont like them to much is that they usually yield very little but some strains can yield more. And they are not so potent if you compere them to "normal" strains, correct me if you think i´am wrong(and give a exampel of a strain that is STRONG and yield more than 15-25 grams) but i have been smoking weed for 21 years and i want good stuff that really works. I like some autos because they are very good for stealth growing and i am gonna use some this year also so i have a early harvest to smoke while i waiting for the good stuff

And does anyone knows how many darkhours it takes for Guerilla gold to begin to flower, i mean is she early and if she is i wonder how many she needs ? As i said before i need strains that only needs 6-7 hours of farkness to flower. And today i received my Maroc and Purple maroc from Female seeds. It took only 1 week, very fast and they did also gave me 4 seeds of Easy sativa for free ! Very nice so now i can give them a chance also and i think that they and the Marocs will do just fine here and now i´m gonna order some Danish strains also and maybe Guerilla gold also... depends on what i hear here

OOOps my brain just reminded me to ask you people if Guerilla´s gold is mould resistant ? That would be a very good thing because in September here it could get very rainy sometimes. And i also wonder if anyone have used mouldspray on their plants ? I have only had a couple of plants through the years that had mould, i really could say that i had been blessed on that problem. Do you think that mouldspray could work if you would discover mould on your girls ? I have never read something on that but my mother use it on her plants outside in the garden and it works she said so have you used it ?

Yee they seem to be very good to my purpose because it is Danish strains and it works here where i live. But can you get them somewhere else or is it only seed auctions where they are available ?

No worries people i did find them at Zenseeds.com. But keep filling up this thread with info on EARLY strains and mouldresistant strains also

i wouldnt nock all autos, ive the 3 ive grown ive been very pleased with them. but it is your choice and have u thought about just getting some early flowering beans (non auto) and starting them at 12/12 and then putting them out once they start to bud in say 3 weeks of veg?, alot of seeds if giving a fair amount of dark wont revert to flower as the days get shorter n shorter and u put them outside at say 14 hours of light. someting to think about.

Nice thread!

I play with the idea of developing a strain that is well suited for northern climates, but am not there yet due to wife issues.

Allthough I do not know squat of growing marihuana just yet, and even less about breeding, I find it plausible that severeal different genes in a mix would be better.

The idea has been to invest in some strains (Guerilla Gold, Mandala # 1, one of the danish, and perhaps one of the canadian or alaskan) and open pollinate them during the long winter wait. Whoever survives in the wild will be brought in to breed, and the selection continues.

That's the dream, anyway.

Keep posting about your finds, northern growing is as awesome as it gets.

Yeah thats the idea to develop some strains that is very suitable to nordic areas. I was thinking to cross some of the Maroc/Purple maroc with some early Danish strains and keeping that work til something very early coming up. And it would also being good if they would have some real good frost tolerance aswell. I really cant waiting until the season begins, for me its approximately 99 days(i´m really counting the days) left to the day i begin to put the seeds down in mother earth.( I borrowed some from her so i could start them little earlier in containers). . . . . . . . .

I have to ask if anyone has any experience of Female seeds Maroc, Purple maroc and Easy sativa ? I read somewhere that Maroc was a mouldmagnet ? So i wonder what your experiences are with that strain. And i also wonder if it is the same with Purple maroc. Let me now all your experiences with these strains because where i live now it could be very rainy sometimes in September and i really hope that they would be finished by that time. And i also wonder how many weeks it took for these strains to be ready in your opinion, it says 7 weeks for the Marocs and 8 for Easy sativa. . .

Hi everyone ! Today did i some walkaround and looking foor good places to grow my darlings. I still have some good places since i lived here before, but some places have changed since it where almost 14 years i lived here. But i feel confident about my places and i tried the soil with a PH device and it was exactly 7. GOODY GOODY ! Only 81 days left and i really long for the day i can begin.

Have you decided wich of the danish to buy? I see that hybrids from hell on seedbay have a cross between indica Guerilla Gold and sativa Danish Passion.

Hi Chrille Grows

Ive been considering your situation. The problem i see with Biddy, GG and the others is the amount of darkness required to flower them. Its my belief and experience that annual/ photosensitive cannabis needs a minimum of 9 hrs of darkness to begin, or remain in flower, but you say that some strains have finished there. Some of the earliest plants i know of,(biddy, Rox) triggers into flower at 14.75 hours of daylight. Taken from 24hrs, the remainder is 9.25 hrs of dark.

There are some strains between autos and annuals that arent completely autoflowering, but are very sensitive to light changes. Brenda's skunk X Northern Lights is such a strain or Dutch Treat is another. 1/2 of the plants autoflower and 1/2 of the plants finish very early. I grew it and was impressed with the potency. I planted May 1 and harvested 1/2 of the plants mid july and the rest Sept 10, or a month later. Because i harvested the latest plants sept 10 and its a 55 day strain, that means the dark period reached a level that induced flowering in early july, that dark period in early july for my lat is 8.75 hrs.

Forced flowering is always a possibility. Start the plants indoors, in 5 gallon buckets, force them into flower and then sit them outdoors to finish. this method might alllow you to grow some strains that normally you couldnt grow otherwise.

gunnar and esbe know their stuff. Maybe they can help with answers.

Thanks mate ! I dont have any lamps and stuff to pregrow them, only thing i can do is outside growing at the moment. The strains you suggested where can i get them ? The strains i need should(as you mentioned) be light sensitive. Where i live the change from long days to short days after midsummer is very rapidly, it could be something like 5-6 minutes everyday so strains that could react to that would be the very best so i could take advantage of the warm days before mid September. After that the days could get really chilly with temps around 12-15 C.
