A China person got some questions

hello everybody!

i'm focking chinese man(my english bad),this is my first grow this shit,and i'm very happy to join this forums to learn Knowledge form here。

this is the Problem，
my home temperature is only 20°,
so i put my Seedlings on top of the radiator，
just below the window，
and add a 15W lamp，
The temperature rose to 27°，
but the humidity just have 35%，
i use Peat, vermiculite and perlite 1:1:1
that humidity make the soil dry
so I use a humidifier to improve humidity
and use paper closed up the area
now there is humidity 70%and temperature 26°
but haven't Air flow
is this make make my plants die?
and when i should adding plantfood?
and when i should change my lamp to hps 400w？

Welcome to the forums, it's nice to see people who aren't afraid to overgrow a communist government.

No need for airflow this early on. They look fine, get a hand sprayer and mist them every so often. Don't water until the soil is damn near dry. Plant food, wait a few weeks. Oh and that other lamp would be nice in about a week or so, along with light airflow.

thanku，i only can find a plantfood name called scotts peter’s water-soluble fertilizer for seedlings，the npk is 9:45:15.i cant find highclass plantfood in china.and i dont know which one better

for seedlings you DONT need plant food. make sure the light is as close as possible to the seedlings or they will stretch out. take a spray bottle and mist them every couple hours to maintain humidity and keep the soil moist. good luck in china man....i got friends out there who love the chronic but its on some real underground stuff out there...

Jacks is a fine brand. I used it for years when I first started. Its flowering mix is almost perfect for cannabis. For vegetative growth use the 20-20-20 or 10-10-10 or whatever it is. For flowering use 10-30-20.

If you have high quality potting soil. Add 1tbsp bone meal, 1tbsp blood meal, 1tbsp lime, and 2tbsp alfalfa or kelp. You can add one gallon perlite to ten gallons soil if you wish. Mix well and pour lightly into a bucket. Feed the 20-20-20 one time at 3/4 tbsp per gallon of water once in the 4th week of growth. Flip lights on the 4th or 5th week to 12/12. Use the 10-20-30 one time at the same dose during the fourth week of flowering. Usually harvest 8-10 weeks after flipping to 12/12.

You can use the 400 w light any time you want. Just put the under side of your arm under the light to make sure it isn't too hot at that distance for your plants.

If the temp is between 75-85 degrees, and you do as I said you should have a decent starter crop to learn from. Good luck.

You need air flow, especially when your plants get larger. Plants absorb carbon dioxide in the air. Stagnant air isn't good (unless you're supplementing CO2.)

If your temps are fine, you only need fresh air for CO2. A small circulation fan should help. Make sure the fan doesn't blow directly on small plants.

If your temps are too high you may need an exhaust fan in addition to a circulation fan.

and when i should adding plant food?

Generally, your seedlings won't need plant food for 2 weeks. Keep an eye on the cotyledons (the round, first set of leaves.) When they start to yellow, feed at 1/4 strength according to the instructions. As the plants grow, increase plant food up to label strength.

Too much water and plant food can damage your plants. Only water when your medium is moderately dry. Cannabis likes the medium to be drenched, then allowed to dry enough so roots may absorb oxygen.

Water soluble plant food will eventually build up in your medium. When watering or feeding, allow a small amount of runoff so the excess plant food doesn't cause problems later. Some growers alternate between plant food and plain water to keep buildup to a minimum.

and when i should change my lamp to hps 400w？

As soon as you decide to bloom. If you want, you can also veg with the 400w, it just depends on how fast you need your plants to grow. You'll probably need more distance between the 400w and the top of your plants. Keep an eye on the temps so you can judge the proper distance.
