Any standard latex paint will do the job for you. Just make sure to ventilate and make sure it's completely dry.
If you want maximum reflection go with satin white.

These were recommended by someone who was a painting contractor, if I remember correctly. I don't remember who the poster was, but thanks!
Primer/Sealer - Coronado “Grip-n-Seal” mildew resistant primer
White paint - Benjamin Moore “Regal Matte Finish” Super White – has titanium beads for reflectivity

Use a low VOC (volatile organic compound) rated paint. Let it dry for twenty four hours before you put the girls in there. The most reflective white paint would be titanium white, which reflects 97.2% of all available light.

Flat white is fine.

I use kilz low VOC flat white primer stuff. the green label one.

I've been known to throw a fresh coat of paint down between harvests too instead of cleaning ;)

i just bought a pint of Liquitex BASICS Acylic Paint in titanium white. i hope this stuff reflects well. i'm going to the store to buy a pint of flat white tomorrow and i'll use that as a primer of sorts. then when the good stuff comes in, i will paint it again.

you won't poison your plants unless you subject them to a very high level or VOCs. Some latex paints are bad but the oils are where you'll run into problems.

I've never understood the flat paint suggestion, but a very reflective shiny emergency blanket. Reflection is no good... unless it's mylar?

But yeah, any kind of flat white will do the trick for you.

Flat white is what you want for sure, semi-gloss, gloss and latext of any kind eat the lights and don't reflect it back.

I don't remember where, but I seen a reflectivity scale, and flat white was the highest reflectivity--
Home Depot, Ultra Pure White--:tiphat:

You wanted low VOC paint. (volatile organic compounds)
