Platinum OG KUSH 36 site aeroflo

Hello everyone..this will be the first journal ive posted on this site.

Im growing plat og kush in a 36 site aeroflo. the machine is in a secret jardin dr 150 grow tent, 1/4 hp water chiller, and house and garden nutes aqua flakes.

the first 2 pics are the second day in the machine, and the last is budshots of the last og grow i did in decemeber.

comments and suggestions welcome!

the yield was pretty small on my last go..i had 5 spots that were vacant. I didnt get a final weight, but i know it was under a lb. which is considerably small, because ive grown afgoo, and gdp in the same system and got over 1.5 lbs on those grows. i'll try some different things this time to try and increase yield...

i checked on them today, and they are looking pretty decent..looks like a total of 3-4 wont make it. i'll switch to flower tomorrow and snap some more pics in a couple of days.

have they filled out and made a solid "canopy" under your light? ....if not, you might want to hold off on switching them.....

let those fuckers get nice a big before you flip. based on your pics id go another 10days at least. train the shit out of them and throw some hortitrellis netting over them i use a similar table by botanicare check it out... this is how big i let mine get before the flip...

yeah they are in 3in net pots..

if i veg over 10 days, they get too big, ive learned to do a 10days max veg, but these are starting to grow pretty nicely. the pics were taken at day 2, they have a lot of new growth right now. the trelis netting i put up does a good job of holding them up, but im gonna try some defoliation techniques on this grow to increase overall bud size, and hopefully yield.

i have no idea the genetics behind it..my buddy grows in LA, and brought me the clones plant a couple months ago..all i know is he paid WAY too much for them when he bought them..something like $17 for 120 clones...it was ridiculous..he got some serious ball bustin from me.

tie off the hortitrellis to each of the 4 poles on your tent creating a nice tight top layer of trellis... then train your plants thru the trellis and you will get the yield your looking for

.....hey smokey...did you say that you were going to use a "defoliating technique" to increase yield? ....I have to say that in many years of growing, that Ive seen a few growers decide that taking the leaves off makes their yield better....Ive also yielded as well or better with my crops by choosing good genetics,and keeping stress out of my grows.....plant stress is a yield killer.... so think about it like this,... the leaves are like the plants solar panel,they gather energy from the light.......then they make sugar, which is used in the rest of the plant, for fuel to grow....cutting leaves off to expose the buds is even counterproductive, cause not only do you lose the energy collecting surface of the leaves, you expose the buds to more light, thc is degraded to less potent cannabanoids with exposure to uv light..... just my 2 cents......
