I have had breakers go off and the plants go dark for 2 days. They stayed ok. Maybe it's luck. Maybe I'm wrong but it's a weed I don't think it needs to be babied like some people do. But they probably out harvest me too!!

lol the gist i get from all the answers is it don't really matter, but here is what I am gonna do:

i have a tent, but when i first decided to grow, I started to convet a drobe into a stealth cab, then changed my mind. my stealth cab I use as my wardrobe. gonna temp convert it back to a light shack (it's locked, and lightproof) leave it on ( my landlord is laid back, he won't look in my drobe). then eat some Bacon, Frence bread, mozzarella and Mustard.

1. Hide them and hide them well - you don't want to go to prison do you?
2. Smell - leave the house / apt go outside for some fresh air and then come back in and see if you can notice any smell. This is the best way to clear your senses and get a good clear idea if the place stinks. I can't tell you how many times I have been in my home (not growing) gone outside, come back indoors and been like "wtf is that smell" be it dirty diapers, sweat or whatever but couldn't smell it without going outside first.
