Question: have you noticed any difference in the formation of the trichs etc. that was just under the UV-A to the rest of the bunch?

ps. blueschato, hai detto bene! :)

Hi SuperP.
Well....computer might be crashing....but your pics are flying high....!!!!:kewlpics:
I am amazed.....Cindy looks great in your care bro......omg...!!!
About yield, I don't think you have to worry to much.....she packs some weight in those nugs, and she is a strong finisher.......!!!
Did you smoke the UV-'infected' bud...???? Just wondering about taste and potency, or did you only smoke the sample budlet..???

We have to toke one together real soon now......!!!! Real soon.....hehe:blowbubbles:
Give my best to the Ms. and good karma to you both...!!!:ying:

Dudes! Thanks a lot for all your replies. It means a lot.

Anti was right ;)
Since you like it, I made an adapter (pretty tricky actually) to fit the microscope.

I’m harvesting, got a functioning computer (sorry for the low update rate – my primary crashed just after I started this thread) and will be updating over the weekend with pictures and comparisons as it comes along.

The setup won’t do the microscope any justice though, since it is not an ordinary stereomicroscope, but uses 3-D to give depth perspective you need for high magnification. It shows two different pictures in the eyepieces.
Olympus makes a camera that uses the objective to create a 2-D image, with the option of fine tuning focus in different parts of the picture.
A photo from one eyepiece at around 80x looks like this. High resolution using my cam is impossible for anything but smooth surfaces.

Awesome! Love the purple crawling up inside the trich stalks!

Then this is for you :)

This is from a bud directly under the biovital bulb.

Just a random pic.

I’ve got a Leica measuring eyepiece. Sadly it has a bit different shape and won’t fit the adapter I made, but I’ll try to get a few pics anyway to show you how I make a judgement of that.
I haven’t made it to the back of the cab yet ;)

There is an entire layer of small hard nugs hiding when I remove the bigger buds :)
Quality looks OK down there, though they look less mature (close-up later :dance013: ), But since I grow one strain at the time, I like to get two different products.

I'm not worried about the yield at all. Those nugs I dried early were heavy and tight just like your prediction. And there are a lot of them. :D Besides – with the potency in mind nothing will upset me.

I did smoke some from under the bulb, a pleasant smoke in spite of only a few days of drying. But it didn't have a lot of the sweet flavor either.
The high I get from this is amazing. Smoked a bit before I started harvest.
It's like there is an invisible hand pushing me in the back, making me feel very "energized".
Thank you bro, I'll see you soon – and give my best to Mrs. Ludo

Bud from under the uv.

I’ll be back with more later :tiphat:

Thanks s-man :)

Here is the last one of today. From the back of the cabinet with lowest amount of the uv. Somewhat bigger fruits then those directly under the uv, less colour.

Hey Boom - Thanks

Last harvest pics :)

A lot of small buds under the bigger.

Lots of the shade buds look ok.

As promised, I tried to take a photo through the eyepiece I use for measuring. Since taking pictures without the adapter is no fun, this is just to show the tool.
By knowing the zoom rate you can take measurements of whatever is in focus.

Buds in the corner getting the least amount of light, still plenty of crystals.

This weekends harvest(the amount of good trim I've got is very big too).

Dry shots of some of the buds harvested early.

The roots after harvest.

I'm leaving the bio filter to clean up the rest, since I won't start another one before the drying is over.

Thanks for watching. :)

Incrediable superpedro! This has been one of the most entertaining grow threads. I love all the macros. That is a great harvest and those buds look soooo frosty. One hell of a grow, Thanks for sharing man :D
