:tiphat:Hi all

New to the site and am starting my first grow! I'm starting out with 600 Watt MH conversion bulb. 7 plants: 4 strawberry cough, blue dream, blue goo, and GDP. Got a fan on them right now.

Tomorrow i will be setting up the light, as we got the clones just today

I figured i would transplant from small pots to permanent pots at 3-4 days. Tell me what you think about this.

Also i am curious as to how much i should water these babies of mine right now as well.

And any problems people think i may run into that i would not be expecting from my first grow (mould, bugs, temp problems, water quality, etc)?

Just my first post guys, i'd really appreciate help on this one, so i can show everyone else that a simple grow is a smart grow.

ALL HELP THOROUGHLY APPRECIATED. out brothas
many pics to come

With the cuts you listed, it seems you must live around here, somewhere.

I ain't hatin Stinky.I believe what Stress was gettin at was you probably won't be able to post pics till then.I'm not 100% positive but i think a certain amount of posts or time frame is involved with posting pics.Check out the TOU and it'll tell ya better than i.

Transplant from small pots to permanent pots at 3-4 days......what exactly do you mean by this?

And welcome to IC

I like your light set up 600w are the most efficient ballasts ,lowest wattage and most lumens output! So far you've done great! Now what is your enviroment like are u in a tent or a room?Does it have A/C? Or are you gambling on the weather outside?

indoor/outdoor- im doing it in a walk in closet. plenty of room. i live in the bay area and the insulation in the house is pretty decent. it stays around 65-75 in my house. with the light in the closet i think the temp will be pretty stable.

also, i just found a family of fucking aphids starting to colonize the babies. any suggestions on ways to fix this. i was going to go get aphid traps

THANKS GUYS

fladankster- i want to transfer the clones into the 1 gallon soil bags i have around then. should i just do it now, or since i have aphids at the moment, kill them first?

they are in the small soil cups right now that i bought them in

Don't do nada till you get rid of all bugs!!!!!!!Can't tell ya myself how to deal with aphids, never had to....KNOCK ON WOOD!Clean the entire area your plants are in also. And are you 101% pos you have "aphids"

How big are the cups they are in?

whodair- thanks a lot! great resource for me

fladankster- yes i am positive they are aphids. iv been continually killing them every time i check on the plants. it seems that most of them are dead but im going to get a spray from a shop to make double sure before i transfer them into their permanent soil. right now they are soil containers that are 2 3/4 sq x 2 7/8 deep. the blue dream is in one slightly bigger, but not by too much.

just sprayed the plants with some insecticidinal soap solution. does anyone disagree with this method of killing the aphids?

Those ain't cups ,more like a shot glass.Reason i asked is cause you asked about watering but you should be able to keep them wet enough with a small amount of water. These are rooted right?Hope ya get your critters under control.
