Ninja Turtle x MK-Ultra-F1 #2

Here are some of the plants in the basement, they are Ninja Turtle x MK-Ultra-F1 #2. I am not sure why they seem so skinny, perhaps the temps down there are still a little low, at least nothing is freezing...

picture.php

Here are 5/6 of them, the other is the same, just about 4" shorter.

picture.php

Also in this batch is a clone of a Blueberry Punch x MK-Ultra hazy-pheno plant. I am not sure if I will keep that strain, I didn't really do that much selecting, that particular female just fell in my hands so to speak.

This pic is a double post, but it shows the whole room.

The BPxMK is the smallest of the two closer plants, the middle height plant on the close right is the shorter Ninja Turtle.

That is all for now.

Peace all.

Sensi is a great go-to strain.. not quite an elite strain or anything but it's very potent for most people.. super indica high.. yields good too

Mikado x MK-Ultra plants

Mikado x MK-Ultra plants

Well, 4.5 hours later, I finally finished the chopping!

The strain is Mikado x MK-Ultra-F1. This is the same male that made all 3 Ninja Turtle crosses I have on this thread and others. These particular crosses were really hermaphrodite and pollinated most of my room a bit. There were two seedlings which survived, they did not clone easy, so I decided to flower what was to be the mothers.

It really didn't matter that I couldn't save a clone because it was such a bad herm I would not grow it again. The crosses are both very similar to each other. The tall single cola, plant B, has more sativa leaves and a spicey smell. Plant A was fimmed and had like 5 tops on her. The bottom branches were the exact size as the top, I was really impressed with how the fim/long veg/7.5 gal pot worked out on these two. Plant A has a fruitier, almost berry-like smell. What is awesome is both of these represent the two clones I had of Mikado a bit back.

Well enough about them, here they are.

New Pictures

Hi all,

I have some pics of the plants which were recently harvested.

First up is a dry shot of some of the Mikado x MK-Ultra plants which are above.

picture.php

Next up I have a plant which we call Late Hitter. It was given the name because it has about a 15 min creep on the high. The genetics are Mr. Clean x MK-Ultra. Mr. Clean was a plant supposed to be AK-47, but I believe it was not. It was a piney astringent flavored 14-week sativa plant which did not branch at all. This bastard offspring is a 12-week bush sativa that can really push out around 28-32oz/1000W. This beast was 3oz by itself, the other thing is one can only fit about 14-16 grams in a wide mouth quart mason jar, it is really fluffy.

enough said, here she is.

Here is a pic of a soil Sensi Star plant which got more colorful that her sisters.

Finally, I have 3 more of the Ninja Turtle x MK-Ultra-F1 #3. These plants were frozen like the other plant shown above.

Well, this is what is drying currently, these pics are a few days old, but this is what's going on. I have been slacking on taking pics in the room, so I will have to do another round of uploading later tonight.

First off I have my first Blueberry plant. I obtained this clone about 10 weeks ago, I got two clones, one for a mother, and this test plant. Sadly my test plant was pollinated and apparently Blueberry is a very fertile girl as she made tons of seeds. They should be feminized Blueberry x (Mikado x MK-Ultra). I am actually quite interested in growing these out sometime in the near future, but I would really have liked more sensi Blueberry buds.

Anyways, here she is.

picture.php

And her top.

picture.php

Next up I have the last Blueberry Punch x MK-Ultra seedling. There were so many of these, this was the only one to pre-flower and show female before flowering. I tried to keep her as a mother hoping for something, colorful, potent, diesel flavored, or paint/terpentine pheno. Sadly it is just a hazy sativa pheno which are like 50% of the seedlings. I decided to not keep the strain, I think there are like 6 clones floating around in the flowering boxes, but I did not keep any for mothers, and this plant was the seedling, so she is gone.

Here is her top,

picture.php

and one of the cola's

picture.php

I think the blueberry line in general is very fertile, whenever I produced seeds in the BPMK line, they produce crazy amounts, 100-300 per oz.

Finally, I chopped a batch of Late Hitter plants. Actually it is my last batch as the strain is no longer around. I gave 4 clones to caregivers in my city, I wonder if they decided to clone them or just flower what I gave them, so it may exist somewhere, but not for me right now.

Anyways, this plant is crazy, it requires lots of light, water, and fertilizer, but can produce 2lb/1000W when given ample ingredients. These are easily some of the largest cola's I have ever grown. Here are some of the larger ones, I think this is the 4 that were closest to the light.

Here is a closeup of the buds

That is all for now, I am still trimming these beasts cause there are so many leaves. I will post some pics of the trimmed cola's as they are finished off.

Peace all.

Basement Plants

Basement Plants

Hi all,

Seems as though I have been quite busy lately and not uploading much. Here are some of the ladies in the basement.

This is the whole room, there are 8 Afghan x MK-Ultra pheno's on the right, and a mixed batch of hydro on the right.

picture.php

This is a Ninja Turtle x MK-Ultra-F1 #2 plant.

picture.php

It is pretty typical for what they usually look like, but the other plants in this batch have developed some tropical color as the room is colder than what I usually have. Ordinarily they are even a lighter green than the pic above, but here are the new ones.

picture.php

picture.php

picture.php

Lastly, here is my MK-Ultra-F2 which has an amazing spicey floral aroma.

picture.php

That is all for here, I will have some more pics in my breeding link at the bottom, those plants are really looking amazing.

Peace all.

Born in Flower

Born in Flower

Hi all,

I though I would give "born in flower" a go. I am not certain why I thought to do this, but I had some mystery seeds which were unlabeled/mislabeled/unknown parentage so I tried it out. I put down like 30 seeds or something and had 18 strong seedlings, not too bad for random seeds.

I think the seeds must have been produced from a herm plant's pollen as all of them were female, they really aren't even that bad of herms. This leads me to believe producing feminized seeds really isn't that difficult.

I would not recommend this method of growing for anyone unless it is necessary for some reason or another. The plants develop slowly in the beginning and then finally take off. As many other people have come to the conclusion, one could just veg them for a few weeks and flower smaller plants and probably finish faster with probably more buds.

But anyways, this is what I did, and here are some pics.

The genetics are something of: Mikado, MK-Ultra, Blueberry Punch, Afghan. That is what I was growing at the time when the seeds were more than likely created.

New pics of the same plants above

Hi,

I really like playing with my new camera, last night I took lots of pics when I watered cause I could finally get back to where the hydro table is for these ladies.

Also, I was playing with the pics re-sizing on my own and such, so here are some of the colas from above. I really haven't numbered or labeled these plants much as they are mystery seeds which ended up being feminized.

A definite benefit of resizing your own images is the upload time.

Here they are.

That is all for now, I am really not sure when these plants will be done, they have flowered now for 9 weeks. Well, they have flowered for like 13 weeks, as they were born in flower. This really isn't that good of a method, but I am mad invested so I really don't care. As I have said before when experiments go weird or not as planed, my patients and I have enough medicine from the standard run batches and that is what matters.

The only cool thing about this batch is these are all different seedlings from mystery bags of seeds. I am excited for the flavors as they may be new. Sadly, from smelling the tops yesterday they seem to be mixes of things I have already grown, like MK-Ultra, Blueberry Punch, Mikado, etc...

I really need to start some of the new genetics I have to get some new male pollen sources to get some new variety in my breeds.

Peace all

Sadly, once trimmed they are bright green as usual and this color is really only for the gardener to observe.

That is all for now, more later as I chop and test some things drying.

Born in Flower plants

Born in Flower plants

Hi all,

These plants seem to be taking forever, I really dis-like the born-in-flower idea, but whatever, that is what's going on.

There were initially 4 different mothers that made these random seeds which became unlabeled. It is obvious that the first plant was really indica, or at least it's offspring looks that way. This plant is only 1/3 the height of most the other plants in the batch.

picture.php

The next plants were a little more sativa in structure, both very similar in phenotype.

picture.php

The third set of plants produced 3 very large cola plants which look to be really good harvesters. There appear to be 2 different phenotypes in this line, two of the plants are almost identical in most visible traits, the third is slightly different in bud structure and leaves.

The fourth set of plants is the most sativa of the 4 types of mystery seeds. They all look somewhat like sativa versions of the MK-Ultra plant I had a bit back. There may be only 2 real phenotype, with some slight variation amongst the main group. The second phenotype in mystery strain #4 has really round nuggets which do not stretch very much at all. It is actually quite interesting looking and I cannot wait to try the different types in this batch.

Hi all,

Here are some plants from my Afghan x MK-Ultra breeding project which has a link at the bottom of my posts.

I am not sure if I have posted these anywhere, but here they are, they are also in the album on my page.

The first pic I took and didn't realize there was even a fungas gnat, or whatever it is, on my plant. Then I saw it on the computer, kinda funny.

Here are some other nice nuggets, enjoy.

Hi hurdy gurdy man,

I have a link in my sig for a post in the dried and cured section. I have a digital microscope and good macro setting on my new camera. Most of my buds have dry/macro shots on that link.

Thanks for stopping by.

Peace

Hi,

The Real McCoy, I don't think you can change the title of a thread and I don't feel like cluttering the page with various threads, so I put all my flowers up here.

As for the random herm plants, I have breed herm plants into everything I have, so that is what I have to deal with it until I breed it out. Almost all of the best strains are monoecious to some extent and it is the job of the breeder to fix those problems in there lines.

Peace.

Small Update

Small Update

Hi all,

Here are some of the plants I have running now.

First up is the born in flower plants, I think they are running like 14 weeks total, which is crazy, I could have flowered some haze hybrids or lots of crazy sativa in place of these... Also I could have vegged these plants probably 4 weeks and still finished on the same time, but whatever as I have said before I am not hurting now and this is a learning experience.

Lastly, I will mention a new strain I am working with called P. It is a local heirloom strain which has been breed outside for many years and never grown inside. The strain starts flowering once flipped and seems to be packing on weight faster than Ninja Turtle clones! I am really excited for this as this is the same story with different people as Ninja Turtle. I am hoping that I can breed this strain and make some awesome hybrids using this really hardy plant.

I don't really have any good shots of the plants yet, I have 1 mother which died in a freak accident in the veg room. I saved 12 clones from her and they have rooted, so the strain is not lost. I flowered 4 of them and here are two, maybe one more in the background. It is hard to see, but they are the two main plants in the front of the image.

picture.php

This strain has some mad sawtooth like leaf edges. The plants are really dark green compared to others and have somewhat sativa looking leaves. It is astonishing how many groups of older growers have these old school sativa genetics breed into their strains from the 70's and 80's and have done nothing but breed it with itself outside every year since.

When I brought Turtle and then Ninja Turtle inside, both different lines of the Turtle strain, they exploded in size and resin. Now, this P strain from different people, the plant is again exploding at least in size so far. There is not much resin production yet, which leads me to believe it may not be as strong as the Ninja Turtle. The Ninja Turtle though is really strong and there is some room for the P to fall in before it is not potent enough.

I am really excited to smoke some of this stuff, I have only seen it from different people grown outside in our terrible climate. It is never really finished due to our very short season and it usually suffers due to extreme cold temperatures to get it anywhere near done. Indoors these strains thrive in 75-85F constant temperatures. I have found with the Ninja Turtle that the phenotypes change quite a bit due to temperature, I wonder if this is from their parents having lived in harsh climate so many generations?

Anyways, more pics of the P plants later, I rearranged the hydro tables as some more room freed up in my main room. They are even bigger than in these pics and are already showing the first brown pistils!

Peace all.

Here's an old run I did back in 2008 of Sensi Star x Dutch Dragon

It ended up being a clone from the wrong phenotype mother but it was still excellent.
