Update

Here's an update at day 45. I am pretty stoked on my Acids so far. Buds are starting to swell and density is coming on. The smell is phenomenal, sour grapefruit diesel. I believe the name comes from the wonderful oder that it permeates. It is very citrus-acidic smelling, absolutely delicious. I can't wait to enjoy this herb.

Nice work rainmaker! These gales are filling out nicely, how much longer do you think they will go? And how funky are they, real stinkers or once rubbed?

Strain names

Strain names

Strain names do make a difference to my patients. They shouldn't but do. A Strain called "Fucking Incredible" is called just "FI". Good Strains with catchy names seem to attract more attention and interest than boring, offensive, or just plain stupid names. The days of Strain A, B, C, D is long gone. My patients want to know the name and the the type (sativa/indica).

I personally only care for the quality of the smoke and how they grow, but that's me. Grew a strain called "Angel's Dust", CH9 Green Bud, Mandala's Satori, Beyond the Brain, and patients prefered other strains even though the quality of smoke was comparable.

The Acid strain does look good, and look forward to growing it. Not a hater.

Gonna let em' go another 10 days or so, around 65-ish. I still can't get over how wonderful they smell. These Acids are citrus-diesel stinky. They have the best aroma of all the varieties I have in this run. One constant with all the Paradise strains I have grown is the great taste and smells they possess. I hope to get a great sativa-dominant high from this herb.

Amongst the panoply of characters in the weed buisness out there, Luc is probably one of the less deserving to be called a fucking idiot or whatever the quote was....
Nice show on the acid!

Ya buddy....crew just finished the crop yesterday. The Acid fumes overpower every other strain in the grow. Every time I walked into the drying/trimming area all I smelled was the Acid. Pretty powerful oder considering it only consisted of 15% of the total harvest. I will get a smoke report and dry shots up soon. Let's give it a lil' cure before the formal smoke report, ya? There will be much more Acid to come.

I'm guessing from what's posted that Luc & Co. used Soma's "NYCD" cut to breed this with, not Sour Diesel.
And Doc Leaf is right-Luc did get called out over Black Label
& didn't look so good-But that was many years ago-Bygones, I'd say.
