Worst case scenario when they seen this ese` with the golf club in his hands they could have aimed their weapons and locked him in and requested he put down the club, #2 tazer his ass and bring him down without any other drastic measures and defuse the situation or #3 blow 3 mud holes in this poor dude and drop him to his knee's or #4 shoot at his knee cap and wound him but this is just exsessive force at it's best and we get rammed hard with duck tape across our mouths and a target on our backs..

If I have a felony (which i do), the cops take my gun owning rights away. (and they did)
So why after how many wrongful shooting, and corrupt police forces, are these people aloud to carry firearms?
If a few repeat felons ruined gun rights for me, then why haven't a few corrupt cops ruin it for them? Law enforcement needs the weapons because they know that one day they are going to be backed into a corner just like we got the nazis. I'm buying a gas mask of ebay cuz when the shit hits the fan im joining people. Ive been squatted on for being a "stoner" for to long. Its time to put the shoe on the other foot. Our fore fathers came hear for a reason. And its the OPPOSITE of what we are doing.

This story is excactly why I get so pissed when people on here will come into a thread and be like "oh come on guys quit cop bashing, they're good guys for the most part". Yeah my ass. Tell that to someone who's had their house raided. I mean where is the accountability? Why do all these shootings end up being called "justifiable". Looks like plain 'ol shoot first ask later, murder to me.

this cop was probably the 1st one on the entry team because he shot and killed someone in 2008. They probably see it as 'he's experienced and quick to kill in training'... WHEN ACTUALLY it should be the opposite. this guy should be the last on an entry team!

WE NEED POLICE REFORM IN THIS COUNTRY

Why aren't cops held to higher standard? If a cop shoots someone or breaks the law they should be judged harsher than if they were a repeat felon.

It's at least understandable when this happens because the cops bust in and someone is holding a gun, A golf club is fairly recognizable as not a gun, we all know this is murder. They had no warrant for anyone present at the address. They shot a dude with a golf club in his hands, 3 times, I would say that's intent to kill. I know cops have a tough job but this Burnett guy seems to think its easy, just shoot.

He's got his police death squad training locked and loaded and he's prepared to do it, the line about how he says the ammo "did it's job well" or whatever it said cause I'm not reading that again is crazy. Totally remorseless, he probably sees himself as a mormon white knight, slaying stoners for their crimes of enjoying a plant.

Our society is fine with that notion I think, yet another thing that needs changing.

I can't watch the video, but where did it come from, who shot it, why does it exist?

Police death squad training video, take 1?

This scenario has been repeated many times. "Cops bust in and shoot man defending his home." If some one is busting down your door and it is the cops, its best to not grab anything that could be thought of as a weapon, but how do you know its not gang members busting in? Maybe some kind of early warning system, to know what your dealing with??

No reason an investigation shouldn't occur prior and simply arrest the person while they are out of the house - show them the warrant - and return to the house to conduct the raid.

As said before however these tactic are simply because they enjoy dressing up in swat gear and get to live out movie type scenarios thinking they are somebody. They are nothing but a bunch of pussies who like guns and killing.
