I think TI pad is the best way to rip oil. The essential vapes look okay I've never ripped one, but I have ripped an actual HMK rip and it seemed like the best hit, other than the rig I've smoked out of a LW 10arm Bub w/ HMK curve and it rips very nice. Some people say its hard to get a hit, it is but you have to get use to it. I've seen videos on youtube of a person ripping 1g of oil through a kutvape, but he had a hugeee TI pad.
hmm no i guess we're referring to diff things. a friend of mine has a hash smoking device that plugs in his bong. it's like a downturned bell shape, and there's a Ti spoon on a hinge that swings under the bell. you heat up the spoon and then drop your hash/oil on it, swing it under the bell thing, and take your rip. it was a pain in the ass (p.i.t.a.). edit: the device might work great, it was my friend that made it difficult. see my next post in this thread.

my budy has a oil curve / swing arm like your talking about.. but i have an oil nail, thing works great.

That's the Ti nail? So you really like? One of those is next on my list
yup, i was told the glass nail will break over time. i was told a regular nail wiill work.
and yea she works nicely. oil curves are real nice too.
i just wish my oil nail had the opening on the side of the dome,, seems like itd b easier to hit the nail.
ive seen some really nice worked ones,,, mine was 40$, and i watched the guy blow it.

gosh darn dont use galvanized man, its got a bad coating on it, quite bad i believe.

Nice! SHould try the essential h20 vaape , really easy to use. Dont think Id use a galvanized nail though....
it sounds like you are talking about one of my curves or a copy. he called it an HMK for my initials. dunno why it was crappy for you, oh well. cant please everyone. maybe it was an akward to use copy, i can only hope

Yeah , galvanized has a zinc oxide coating . Not sure if Id wanna try to burn that off......

HMK - to be fair, the biggest problem with my experience with your device was actually my friend. he's a mega klutz. i guess the whole operation just made me really nervous. i'm sure i'd enjoy it a lot more on my own 
ALSO, DON'T USE GALVANIZED STEEL. i can tell you as a welder that we have to remove the zinc oxide before we weld with it cause it is pretty toxic when burned. definitely not fit for smoking off of.
clear borosilicate glass is an ideal material for this. you can't really upgrade from that.
one question tho- doesn't the hash/oil slide off the nail head?

yea, i def mis heard or plain forgot... i have not and will not smoke off a galvanized nail!
but ive been re scrapeing the nail and getting hits. on a oil curve you will still end up with oil at the curve... with the nail, it does kind of slide down the nail.

You might want to make sure your buddy's exhasut fan is operating properly, all those colors are metal oxides that creat noxious fumes at that heat.

Get your nail maker to make more of a bowl at the end. It will be real simple for him to do, to mimic a Ti curve. He could easily use a heavier gauge for the 'bowl' and fuse it to a lighter gauge to fit in the female. Just make sure the fuse is properly annealed if he doesn't have a kiln.
Or if your gong is at an angle, it is going to require him to get some scientific glass carbon tools.
Or I see you can buy the joints now and just fuse them to your shit.

How do you guys use the domes with the nail? Buddy got one, but wasn't overly impressed. Only got to use it once , then he busted it! Heh , wasn't ment to be I guess .
Heat the nail, then put on the dome, dab down onto the nail.

Did that , wasn't impressed. It was really a pain in the ass . Before it got broken , my friend discovered a herb iron worked quite well . Skipped heating the nail, just loaded the indentation on the nail, put on bowl and cooked it with the iron . Personally think , Ill skip buying a nail ....
