Blue Cheese Grow Diary - DWC - 2x400w + CO2

Tonight the last water change before final flush.I keep temps a little lower in this phase...around 20° daytime and 18° nighttime.

EC = 1,5 mS\cm
pH = 5.7

These pics were taken yesterday night (52 days flo).
The indica pheno still has some colas with a lot of white pistils,sativa is more ripen...however I'm pretty sure they will ripen fine at the same time.
Smell is very nice and flowers are really sticky,a lot of thricomes on the lower flowers of indica.The sativa is very resinous too,it looks great.

The sample I took some days ago was not a good smoke...harsh and not so potent...but it's normal...the aroma had something cheese and something fruity

Both plants are plenty of little flower in the lower side.They're not ripen at all...

This plant has a lot of buds but smaller than the other.They're super sticky and not so much leafy.

How much time left do you think will be needed? Some flowers look almost ready...

Thanks buddy.It could be better but I'm pretty satisfied of all the work done.Next time I'll use more W

I think they need around 10-15 days to ripen well.I let them sucks nutes for other 3 or 4 days and then only water.Consider a lot of flower are not ripen at all,you can't see them because they are under the leaves.However not more of 15 days because we need to leave the apartment and considering the time for drying the buds...that's it!

i see the rust looking spots on some leaves. What causes that/deficiency? Do u know?

I've heard that it could be a magnesium deficiency, what do u think???

They look outstanding though ...

Ca def,period.
Unfortunately plants had troubles to absorb Ca from the water.In this last phase they're ok,those bad looking necrotic spots appeared before...sure this had influenced the yeld,at least in minimum part...but this is the risk working with unknown strains\phenos

Looks great man. I gotta say outa all the weed I ever grew nothing smelled like the Blue Cheese! :dance013:

Also never kept them green the whole way thru. They always got that leaf curl on me . but it never affected the smoke. It's still the weed people ask me about.

I never smoked blue cheese...I did a mistake ordering seeds...and instead of straight cheese I bought bluecheese

Le cime sono compatte...ma fino ad un certo punto.Diciamo che sono più compatte che ariose...ma non come quelle di un afghana.
Devo dire che il pheno sativa sarà molto facile da pulire...i fiori sono meno fogliosi.Il pheno indica ha più foglie ma tutto sommato ha davvero dei bei fiori.Ha qualche foxtail qua e là e tante foglie<che nascondo il suo aspetto davvero delizioso.

Seeing them everyday I can't see differences as you can...but yes...they're finishing to fatten up.Some colas of the indica pheno are really fat

However,believe me,I could do it better and better...but I'm happy the same.I'll have enough pot to last me quite long time and as ever I learned something new day after day with my ladies
I took some clones from the indica pheno a while ago...they're now under a little cfl...I took'em when I saw its fatty buds and its grapefruit aroma...don't know what to do with them...will see

When I come back from my little trip I'll take exact height of the plants...however the higher buds are around 1,20 mt , not considering the bucket...the major part of the canopy is around 1 mt high I think...

Thanks KW.The buds looks good yeah.Tonight I'll start the final flush filling the bucket with only water+enzymes so they should be ready in 10-15 days

Hi good fellas
From two days the plants are flushing with only water and enzymes.Two days more and I'll change the water one more time to eliminate fertilizers residues.

What to say...they're ripening fine.The indica pheno is more ripe than sativa,but not so much.The smell is the same I described some posts ago.The buds looks very good,not considering the crappy leaves.

The buds of the indica plants are puffy and plenty of resin,their beauty are hidden by the huge amount of leaves.

Sativa buds are not leafy as the indica as you an see,they remember me some afghan strains.

However after saw them grow and flower I can say they are different phenos,but none of them is a really indica or a really sativa as you can see.The tendency of the indica plants is to remain short,with short internodes and petioles,thick stems and not so much stretching.
The sativa pheno had more stretch in the switch to 12\12,the branches are tiny and longer than the other plant.It developed a lot more bud-sites than the indica but the buds are overall smaller.

As ever,I think the pics talks better than words in some case.I hope they will be useful to other growers and than...I like to take pictures of my plants and not only btw
