Just letting ya know...I'm finding out bigger plants in half gallon pot or so, and less of em is better for coco....otherwise they just turn out small, and don't yield much for the most part

The OG Kush has never been a big yielder its always been about the smoke.
Bigger pots = larger yields :plant grow:

I use a 5 gallon pot personally in flower I jumped up from a 3gal. to 5gal I got about a 1/3 more in my yield. 5-5.5lbs up to 8+

try a coco bed where the roots share a 4x4 or larger area.

cant expect great yield from a small pot-too much restriction. root bound= dismal yields.try a bed where theres gallons and gallons of coco or soil or soiless-then pack em in say, every 6 inches on center, then check out your yield.I hear ya on the o.g. although i am still waiting to fire up an sdxog now that would be interesting to see.

OG Kush + SOG = crap yield
Also having a regular pest control schedule might help you yield more.
I looked over your thread you look like you were battling spider mites and a couple of nute deficiencies, those stresses have alot to do with yield as well

I woulda thought the og would yield well in a SOG type run. Just because it grows tall and lanky so not to overcrowd each other. I would pretty much strip all the lower nodes. And let em get tall and work right through my trellis nets to keep them up. I cooed be wrong here though. That's just an assumption of mine.

Try one gallon pots for a sog. The square net bottom ones measure 6"x6"x7".

Yes sir. Or grow in super tubes from lowes $11.00 each. I got 8 of them in a 4' by 12' area. Makes it easy to grow many strains in a small area.

What is a super tube sci-fi?

True dat. Thanks for looking. I found OG to be difficult because of the stretch, long nodal spacing, and thin stems. The ultimate mini-grow thread AFAIC is the Dr. BudGreenGenes thread. That's what I was shooting for, but OG just doesn't grow like that - fully budded single cola plants. Of course he worked a long time on that strain. I probably should have flipped at 3" instead of 8-10". They ended up at 18-24". I was hoping for 3-5g per but didn't get close. Would be very interested to see how well someone could do, especially since OG isn't a yielder to begin with.
