k1net1k ~ Are you always this hardcore? This is some great work!

I have two suggestions for consideration.

1 - Your glass between the lights and grow area - Are you planning to make it removable? This would make cleaning it a breeze, and would be likely easy to do. Slide in and out maybe? More air flow = more dust.

2 - Perhaps an intake filter for the lighting chamber? (stop dust @ the source. less cleaning and more light transmission).

The design looks great, and very professional. Keep it up.

for twice the cost and half the life. :D

 weird, I just bought a 70w HPS from Lowes for $35 :D. I'm gonna put it in my case. AC fans on the way - went with Sunon SP101A-1123HBT after I put a vent behind my new Scythe Slipstream 120mm 1200rpm fan and it basically stopped pushing air. So much for being silent..

lol, I did the same thing only Im using a DC 120mm blower to replace 2 80mm fans.
Hooked it all up to my diy scrubber last night. Now it sounds like a hair dryer... But it works good.

Me and my brother had bought one for one of our first grows for $50+, we returned it. Too much heat and not enough light, the CFL's and T8's did a better job. Then we got a 400w HPS, for ~$100, best deal we had ever gotten on a HID light.

lol! I thought I put this in the PC growers club thread! lol
sorry man.... I was smokin dragon kush while playing warcraft on one monitor and browsing ic mag on the other:D

:bongsmi:

how's it coming, bro? I'll be finishing mine up and doing a dry run tonight. 70 hps installed and working, but my panel-style scrubber (ala DI Try) was kind of a bitch to make / seal. Cutting 35 little pieces of aluminum angle for a light trap wasn't all that exciting either.
