Drugged: High on Marijuana

What I don't like about "serious documentaries" like these is that incorrect information is heard then passed on as fact without reference to a source. This hearsay takes on a life of it's own, fueled by fears and prejudices. Just slap on some nonsense quote..."One joint = a pack of cigarettes"... and your off.

I thought it was pretty good. the first 40 minutes are practically an advertisement for weed. Most of the people in it talk about how great it makes them feel. You guys have cherry picked the worst one-liners from the whole thing. Probably did more good than harm. How about the patient who looks like many dispensary customers that stereotypically arent that sick and actually has a very serious illness. I thought that part was great. The public needed that. What they didnt need was the tripping baked girl at the end... Even the addict wasnt that bad.

i didnt watch it, but i know ive had WAY worse trips on weed brownies than acid or shroomz, but it was all over and i always felt great the next day. nothing dangerous, just extreme parinoia and some schizophrenic auditory hillucinations.

oh and one more thing about the dude at the end that said his wife left him because he smoked the weed.....he was as square as they come and his female left him because he didnt hit the "blunt" right;)....said he "cried and laughed all at once" when he smoked the weed....the logic behind the 1 liner;), i do believe he was drunk when that happened, i have yet to see someone laugh and cry on the serious tip unless they were drunk and stoned, yet this was about marijuana....not sayin it hasnt happened however he was suspect....

Wish I had my flux capacitor working.. Gotta forget about all the bs I heard on that show.

Yea, we pick the one liners to point out. Because that's what sticks to people who aren't informed.

They take this shit for fact when they see it. Kind of like the guy who thinks the government is behind "Aftermath".

What's up with the crazy bitch near the end? Telepathy? Where the fuck do I get the shit she's smokin'?

Thumbs down.

"Surprisingly, the same study found that water pipes (bongs) and filtered cigarettes performed 30% worse than regular, unfiltered joints. The reason was that waterpipes and filters filter out psychoactive THC with the tars, thereby requiring users to smoke more to reach their desired effect."

My best guess is that passing Marijuana smoke, or vaporized THC through water reduces its temperature which, in turn diminishes the capacity for the inhaled gasses to carry THC. Essentially, as the THC is cooled by the water, THC condenses and drops out of the stream of inhaled gasses and ends up being left in the water.

But that show sucked anyway.

I still call bullshit. I have been smoking for a long long time, and find that to just be ridiculous. Facts found though my years and years of observation and personal experimentation are stronger than supposed facts found by some one that wants to find certain results and finds them through a short period of experiments which do not involve them even smoking them selves. (side note I do not hold my hits)

Supposedly you vaporize more thc with a volcano than a bong, but my bong still gets me higher.

While I agree with much of the critisizm, I thought a lot of it was positive, and worth watching.

they called it a terrorist that hijacks your brain

We had what sounds like a very similar documentary on the BBC here in the UK last week, doesn't sound like the exact same show though.

Was called "How Drugs Work: Cannabis".

Bizarrely, ours used that same analogy, a "terrorist" which "hijacks" your brain.

I'm not a tin foil hat conspiracy theorist, but that strikes me as a little odd to use almost the exact same words.

They both use the same stock footage for the keyframe, so I wouldn't doubt if the script and a lot of the content is recycled.

Just get a voiceover actor with a regional accent and Bob's your uncle.

It's just another way for the government controlled media to brain wash people into associating Cannabis with terrorism. Yet Not one pot grower in the US or the UK has ever been involved in ant terrorist activity ever.
