Nice morning out there folks!! A fine breeze blowing,,,I'm debating whether or not to start flushing this La Nina today or give it one more fresh hot rez....I want it to be perfect, she's on day 67 of 80 or so....Looking loveley on the ECSD MP!!

Room ful of La Nina , would be tempted to change her name to "La Katrina" ...both equally devastating phenoms.

Maybe its the way u grow her ? Remember Shmoe's CaseyJones cut growing up wild like that but even more huge colas . Forgot the lineage of La Nina?
Imagine her under full outdoor sun , ooh la la !<g

* This Canadian's 420lite Med grow is more than just epic , noted in his post #252 he's mentioning a ripening technique using extended dark period & Ice water shock he learned from an old schooler ...a bit of a radical approach that might try at some point .
(Yes , 420 lites! )

If u guys missed this huge build out , did sort of a recap on page 25 after taking almost 1hr to go thru the thread in "mini awe" . Had no idea they were going this big up in Canada , and doing hydroton in 5gals too . <g

going to grow monsters in this set-up ,
but thats what Canadians do , i guess

ok I am 90% done with my snow removal and am regretting the above comment! HAHAHAAH

The 10% I have left is the plow wash in front of my curb cut.

I better re medicate and go back out. :freezing:

Thanks guys. Just put a bunch of gdp cuts into cups yesterday, can't get enough of the stuff. I just wish it would grow faster, veg takes forever with this cut.

Madrus, I think this might be natures way of keeping me inside taking bonghits! What a mess out there, it just doesn't stop coming down... Earlier this year I was thinking of buying a snow mobile, right now I totally wish I did.

Isn't that GDP baby a slow vegger ? omg!

Was used to growing out much faster babies then when first trying GDP (when it became the rage in NorCal) was just blown away at how much patience u needed to wait for this baby to grow up . Some i heard just raised the lights up in veg to encourage stretch . Kudos , you banged her out of the park man ,

I'll tell ya, there is one upside to the snow.... snow bubble :bigeye:

Kudos to ottoman for teaching me this trick. Considering that we all just got dumped on I figured that I'd give this a try. It ended up working out awesome.

Layer the snow and trim just as you normally would with ice cubes, add a bit of water, and let them sit outside to chill for good measure. Fresh frozen trim.

picture.php

I only hand mix my bubble, doing it this way has always yielded the meltiest stuff. I'm strongly anti-paintmixer!! It's worth the extra work.

Wine water!

The result, 16 grams. Still wet. With the second wash make sure to melt it to water fully. You don't want hash getting caught up in the snow and thrown away...

The 73:

I squeezed the water out of a bit of the 73 and tossed it on a fresh screen. Already full melt.

The snow works great for agitating the trim but not beating the hell out of it, plus it's a good way to kill time when you're snowed in.

Trying the same trick here with my hashplant trim, the first run was slow and low yielding because the whole thing had kind of frozen up...now I'm letting it all melt down after the first slow run.I put a load of trim and buds in there too, I hope it comes to something....

Nice Chaco! It can be tough at first as the snow sloshes around more than it mixes, but keep at it. I had beat it for a solid 20 minutes for each bucket, a bunch more than I normally do. The longer you let it sit outside in the cold the better, too. The second bucket I did yielded a bit more than the first, and it was probably out sitting in the snow for a good 45 minutes or so. Looks like some killer material you're running there! Badass.

HL, cool present looks like it will get a lot of good use!

Vado, looks amazing brother, good melty bubble hash like that is just as good as BHO in my eyes, also just fun to make and hand out the not melty stuff to friends and such. I also agree with HL on the preaching of hand-stir, I have been known to irritate some peeps doing my second runs with a paint mixer. But if you want the highest quality bubble you hand stir, if your looking for weight you beat the crap out of it with a paint mixer.

Chaco sorry to hear about the low yields, chances are tho it probably pretty good. I just figured when you got a strain with the name "hashplant" it probably will make either good hash or a lot of it, I hope it was really good!

Tacoma, nice triple kush!

I got a Bubba kush 17 days into flowering and she is a beast, I've heard and felt how powerful this smoke can be so she has been getting a lot of my attention, I want to make sure the smoke comes out as perfect as possible. I vegged her out forever and bent her over a whole bunch and it looks to be paying off.
