Denver is a definite no. Better make sure that everything is UL or its a thumbs down. Denver is also trying to keep all ballasts in the grow room, no wires through walls. Absolutely stupid.
I don't understand why if you have an electrical engineer's stamp on the grow, how an inspector can turn down anything? The engineer is the expert not the inspector, and legally should be trump. With the stamp the engineer takes on the responsibility and therefore the liability.
Anyone have any experience winning anything pertaining to a grow with their building department?

Replying to the earlier post about CO law being in favor of tenants. Maybe it depends on the city/county because most of Denver Metro is in favor of Landlords. And it doesn't take very long to evict tenants. I've done it several times now. Judges hate it when tenants think they don't have to pay last month's rent because they put up a security deposit. They hate when tenants think they can back-out of a lease because of some minor problem. Almost every judge I've met also has rental property, so they understand the headaches of having bad tenants. Yes the Landlord has responsibilities and can be in the wrong but for most Landlords this isn't their first time renting out nor the first time having to handle problem tenants. A well written lease that a Landlord follows, is not going to leave much legal ground for a bad Tenant to stand on.
On another note, I don't bother my tenants if they pay their rent on time and I'm not receiving complaints from the neighbors & police. I'll do a drive-by once in a while, just to see if there's anything that needs to be taken care of that I can see from the outside. Only other times I go in is if there's a problem and a professional needs to come out to fix it. I'm there the whole time the service professional is there, making sure the job is done correctly. I do have one tenant that prefers to pay for fixes on his own, and doesn't ask for reduced rent. Yeah he's probably doing something illegal in there but I have no evidence of it and he's been there for a few years so I'm guessing the neighbors don't have any problems with him either. For all I know he could be growing or even have a meth lab setup in there. If he doesn't renew his lease, then I'll do an inspect of the place with him before he moves out. As long as there isn't any damage and everything is either the same or better, I don't give a f*ck.

i am looking for the white like herbal elements use to carry or any bushyoldgrower(bog) genetics or anything that was on the level of herbal elements. i am looking for a caregiver now cuz now i have a baby girl an scared to grow because it seems like they dont like you growing around lil ones. anywhere i can look for caregivers like a directory for caregivers with openings i only want top shelf meds tho also would have sum norcal cuts an beans for my caregiver to work with.thanks for all the info.

That is why we have judges, it can go both ways.
Under Colorado Law, if you have lived in a house (lived, even if not paid rent) for more that 30 days, you have 30 days notice of eviction (usually takes 30 days on not paying rent before most landlords start the eviction process, hence 2 mo almost a full crop). Learned all about it the last place I lived when some crackheads moved in. They knew the law to the T, and avoided the manager for a full week, so that they would have a full nother week before eviction.

There has been a med center in the south western part of the state that has gotten 2 inspections already. I saw the post the other day.

My girl manages a dispensary in Fort Collins - their Department of Revenue weed cop stopped by about 3 weeks ago.
Not counting city (code/fire) inspectors... the DOR has indeed started the interviews & stop-by's. Know a few that are early on the app list & they are being interrogated at this time... one said it was really like an interrogation... brought shit up that wasn't anywhere on the app, so they might actually be digging into peeps histories.
Didn't y'all sign away some Constitutional rights w that app??? ;-)

I heard about the interviews too - the accounts I heard definitely made them sound like interrogations including the usual intimidation that goes with them - seriously glad I have nothing to do with a dispensary!

My buddies place got all their licensing back in the mail, approved, and no one has ever come by from the state, ever. Not a word.... yet.
Same here....although I'm sure they will show up anyday now!

Amen! I personally don't miss hot, unbearable humid weather at all. or bugs, weeks of rain and the cops. Colorado is SO nice!
Gotta say... the low humidity is a fallacy... at least this season so far. There are some pretty bad humidity spikes here... seen the PM all over. Even this 'winter' has already had 3 or 4 good spikes. Doesn't really matter anyway w transpiring multiple gal's in the air every day!

It's like 50 bucks per month, per light (12/12) in the Foothills......
Your altitude has a lot to do with the humidity, much dryer above 7,500 ft.... dry as a bone where I am! Humidifiers, or my yield goes to shit.....
