Simple Scrog Question

Not new to growing, but first time trying a mod scrog.

Stuff just went into flowering; 1 week now.

When does one remove growth under the canopy?

Also, I believe I read that After the initial flowering stretch is when you stop training into the screen and let them grow upward?

Thanks everyone.

Here is an example picture from last week.

I would start removing the undergrowth slowly when it hits the net. Put the net up as soon as you can so you can start training, continue to train as it stretches. stop when you feel comfortable. some continue to tuck to the bitter end, some let it grow, its your choice.

Agreed. Seems all we have here are plants with screens in the middle. The idea of ScrOG is to spread the plant out, allowing one plant to take the place of many.

If light is getting to undergrowth and there's no condensation on leaves, leave them. Once top growth blocks light and overlapping leaves start trapping moisture, trim away.
