Wow man I've never seen buds like that, nice grow.Im having trouble understanding the air filter and plastic thingy though lol. Got any more pics of that setup

Doesn't rock juice contain a PGR?? if so maybe thats why they all look similar although in your last set of pics i can Definitely see the Differences in strains

Damn i didnt know it had PGR's if i had i probably wouldn't have used it. What about Quik Turn?

Lucky i didnt use too much of it, the bottle had no instructions either.

The reason i wrapped that plastic around the airfilter is so that all the air gets sucked in from the TOP.
before it was sucking in from the bottom, but we all know heat rises.

I was only asking the ? as i'm sure i read a thread on IC about rock juice and someone saying it contained PGR's
I will find out from a mate that works in the field of Nutrients
but when you see all your plants looking so uniform ya gota ask the ?

I've never heard of rock juice but those buds definitely have the tell tale look of plants given some type of Paclobutrazol or stretch inhibitor.
Be sure to keep the humidity very very low towards the end of the grow as those look like they have the ability to mold very easily. Its never fun to take down a beautiful looking grow to find bud rot in all of your tops.
Those are going to be some dense nuggets.

I've stopped using products like that because they seemed to keep everything from blowing up huge - as the buds would never growth in diameter - only in density. Almost always guaranteed bud rot even with 40% humidity and good airflow.

All of the above product lead to super dense tops like your experiencing without size increase. Bloombastic seemed to makes things nice and chunky while still allowing them to grow and get big. I also did not notice quality reduction with bloombastic as I did with the above products.

I do like a bigger yield, however i am more satisfied when i hear good feedback about the smoke. Humidity won't be a problem as its a month into the Australian summer. I'm going to be battling 35-40 degree in room temperatures soon.

i say dont worry about it, rj is the best out of all the pgrs, people only use these when there concern is weight not quality so therefore its frowned upon by others because u lose taste n flavour but each to there own.. I say if its working why change it..

Hard to tell if theres a considerable weight increase as i see these plants 2-3 times a day!
Here are the strains looking different!
The bubblegum has least trichomes but the buds are massive compared to the others
The afghan kush has no smell!! but trichomes are forming on the leaves.
That unknown strain has pistils starting to yellow, theres trichomes slowly forming on leaves.

Not much to update atm.
Its still summer here, so the room has been running 3400 watts for the last 2 weeks.
End of this week is chopping time. From the photo it doenst look like much improvement, but actually some of the buds got too big, and was about to start to rot, so i chopped them early. The diameter was like a 2litre coke bottle on one of them even. I think it was from a humid week we had.
DOES ANYONE KNOW why my aghan kush leaves went all yellow? its to the right of the image, you can see that all the laeves are yellowy when all these plants get the same thing.

Rot can turn what should be a pleasant harvest into a nervous worrisome harvest. Sucks to see the gray shit inside of awesome giant colas. I've recently stopped my use of stretch stoppers and other special flower boosters. I'd rather yield less and successfully then see even a single spec of bud rot in any of my big tops.
Do you find that using those types of products delay finishing time? I'm talkng 60-65 days in and still fat white hairs pokin straight out everywhere.

Hi finally packed it up today!!
Sorry i havent posted anything lately! here is what happened.
3-4week all good with 5400 watts.
the next 5-9weeks was disaster. It was the middle of summer, there was a week of 70%+ humidity, and also 3 entire weeks of room temperatures at 35c+ !!!!
For the last 4-3 weeks i had to use only 1200-2400watts.
Also some tried to turn hermie but i chopped them off in time so theres no SEEDS! LUCKILY!
All in all i ended up with 7lbs and 13ounces.
The three back plants gave me less than 1lbs each.
The afghan kush was only about half an lbs.
Bubblegum made up for the rest.
I was actually hoping for 1lbs-1.5lbs a plant!
Not a huge dissapointment i guess, but i had to do what i could with no aircon.
(It was 38c inside that room during the daytime(lights off))

.648g per watt it works out to I believe - cant complain about that.
I actually think thats pretty amazing if they only had that reduced wattage for their 2nd half of bloom.

I think it was definitely the strain. The bubblegums each gave me about 1.2-1.5lbs a tree.
So i could've easily made 9lbs in total if i was using 8 bubblegum. Also i reckon if i had aircon and ran all the lights i'd hti 10lbs+ easy in this room.
