You know the strains you were growing, ask around if anybody can direct you to somebody with those nugs. You might waste more money travelling around cali than you would chalking up the loss, that's for you to decide. But if you find him, you will know where he lives, what he does, etc etc and from there you can decide what to do. The guy sounds like hes pretty good at this though, you might not see him again for years. Personally I would just chalk up the loss, maybe have somebody let the dispensary know so that they can put a big fat black stamp on his resume. Maybe they'd even help you track the guy, you never know how the owner will feel about having his business set up as a face for a rip-off artist. Unless he has a huge operation going for him complete with fake IDs, names, and papers then hes made himself vulnerable.

you fronted the goods and took that risk... whenever something is fronted you should think of it as piss in a bucket...you're doing this knowing you may never see the money again, if you do, cool, but if not, its not the end of the world cause you knew the risks involved.
I recently sold an automobile, pickup truck, the buyer and I agreed on a price but he didn't want to pay me all up front so I said cool, I'll give you the pink slip when you give me the other half. Would he have rushed to pay me if I just gave him the slip?? hell no...same thing with fronting product...MOST people are gonna take their damn time getting back to you for your money because the ball is in their court and they can sit on it if they want....now if you meet someone professional they will flip it quick and not wait around...keep in mind there are plenty of dip shits in the cannabis community, the ratio of idiots to people who have their shit together is not pretty sight but hey its worth it hold out and find the right people...

on another note...I think there needs to be some consequences for people who steal drugs. There needs to be a reason that makes everyone think twice about doing something stupid. sacred has worked with people that don't mess around, if you screw them for 5 grand+ you should be scared for your life and your families life. but see as much as that sounds "bad", its quality control, it keeps mother f#$kers in check....

I have been fronting to a kid for the last three years without a problem, this year the asshole took off right before Christmas without paying the $400 he owes. It doesn't matter if you know them or not, you will still get ripped off.
