Roadtrip to Cali

So with this being my last year of college, my friends and i are planning a trip over spring break from the East Coast and destined for Cali. Cali or bust baby! But anyway, im looking for some input from you West Coasters... We'll probably stop off in SLC for a night, then head towards Vegas for a couple nights, but after that im looking for some good places to stop off in Cali.
I guess at some point we're trying to make it to the beach, but theres plenty of places in between. With none of us coming from a medical state, what are some places that are smoker friendly (without need for a card, not talking dispensary just places like parks, beaches etc)....any input is appreciated.......

do you have to be a us citizen to get a med card in a med state or can someone from another country who is visiting get one also?......
thinking of traveling to U.S , if this is possible , and only takes as little as a few hours?
otherwise I wont be smoking on my trip.....

damn dude that is a long ass road trip i dont think you realize the magnitude. a trip from cali to vegas is a roadtrip lol. shit when i drive to LA from SF that takes at least a weekend. your trip is probably gonna take you 2-3 weeks. you shold rent a school bus like those guys in road trp, and hotbox it the whole way lol. but medical states to hit are CO on the way.

honestly you should just fly out to CO and roadtrip to cali from there. theres nothing in between CO and South carolina that you really need to see just gonna be alot of boring driving.

i dont kno but the easiest place to get med card is from priceless evaluations on 21st and mission in SF!
and dude you dont need a med card you can land in cali and just go on craigslist plenty of dealers.

yeah its going to be a long trip but we've planned it out pretty well so far. My buddy did it last year, made it to chicago in a day, stayed the night, then to slc, stayed a night, then to vegas on the third day. Since i have 17 days of a break, we've planned on about 8 days of travel and about 8-9 days of sightseeing/chillen. So it'll work out pretty well, we were going to fly but ive never driven across the country and its kinda a life goal nor have i ever been to cali. So im killing a few birds with one trip.

if u drive non-stop, you can get from the farthest eastern state (maine) to San Fran in 2 days. Or if you want to "Forest Gump" it, if you run from Maine to San Fran non-stop you can do it in about 42 days...

you have to live in California to get a med card

In a word, if you're looking for warmer reaches this time of year go SoCal- that's Santa Barbara and South from there (NoCal can be chilly this time of year). Venice Beach is worth checkin out imo, if you want a beach, there's a lot of great ones around here, although Laguna's got mudslides and flooding now and SD County's kinda cold to swim this time of year (but not nearly Bar Harbor in the summertime lol). If you want culta' go bay area...Sausalito, Carmel, 17 mile drive is nice. Redwoods are stoned immaculate. But again, bring your $$, there ain't nothin free about Cali- every ferkin sq inch, whether it's Coranado or points North, is privately owned by big$$, unless you hit the Nt'l parks which are fuckin incredible. thats not totally true its all depends where you are every county is different, like in the san fernado valley the cops dont give a shit about herb they have alot more to deal with
But like in Orange county wheres its more conservative the cops can be dicks about it

I might not even come down dont wanna end up in the pen, and it sounds like theres no way I can get a card for my short stay , I was always scared to go because of drug laws , I just figured it was all lax now with the med programs in effect , might sit this one out , thnx guys...

you wont be able to get a card unless you're a CA resident, but herb would be no problem regardless.

Im sapposed to go to a stag in vegas but always wanted to go to cali, nice , thnx for making it clear to me( must of missed that post, I'm smoked out) , now I wont be scared @ all ready 2 smoke some west coast bomb, I will make sure to have less than an oz , mosdef ,
is there a similar law in vegas the under an oz thing , or is that a Cali thing?
