New year in Prague

Hello:wave:

Me and my friends are staying in Prague for these new years eve, and we have some problems planing the trip.

Our biggest worry is that we don't know where to go for the new years eve party.
In general we are looking for party places where a bunch of rockers would feel good. Any suggestions? Are any of those places smokers friendly? Do such places require reservations?

Any help would be appreciated. :)

I was just in Prague last weekend. Clubs are cool and there are many. Looking for weed go to the clock tower and then the street to the left or ask in the clubs.....the ones you see smoking.

Stay in Old Town, it is centrally located.....can walk to lots of things from there.

Current exchange rate for the US dollar is 18 to 1.

Have fun.

i was in prague a cpl of weeks ago . went to 2 clubs but i was so wasted i cant remeber names lol 1 of them was playing bangging techno and was around the old sqare area .....
i was offered weed by the black dudes on the steet corners but it was hay so i went without for my trip .....
i thought prague would be a cheap place for drinking but its far far from it . a small beer 1/2 pint is just under £2 .

i found a great place too eat and have a drink tho . rocky oreilly irish bar .. the food was 10/10 and the chicken kerbabs were outstanding .
very friendy place and top totty working thee too ... belly tops n mini skirts ..........

Thank you for the info. I think that our hostel is in the old town so that is good news. If everything will be as planed we will have our weed with us(if we don't get busted on the way to Prague:)), so no problems with that. Just looking for places to smoke in peace.

I also thought that Prague was a relatively cheap place to drink and party. I am surprised about that.
We will definitely check out the irish pub. Good food for the mounchies is always a good thing:dance013:

I'd like to recommend ene bene bar, located by krizikova street on karlin. you can buy there really high quality indoor shit.

the place is in antifa, punk climate.

Hi:wave: Just bum around the city, go in some pubs and you' ll see directly if the peeps are "allowed" to smoke or not;) Sometimes you just walk in the street, and you have this big weedy smell' s coming from the bars, like in Dam:D

Near the oldsquare, beers and so are expensive, but generally you have 1/2 liter for less than 1 british pound:)

Have fun!!

yes we eat fish . cod , haddock ,plaice from the fish and chip shop . but carp we do not eat in the uk . we only go fishing for it and put it back in the lakes and rivers .
i know meny yrs ago the monks used to eat carp thats why they breed the mirror carp so it has less scales ...
carp are bottom feeders so i guess they taste very earthy here in the uk . do the carp in prague come from fish farms were they feed the carp pellets to add taste to the fish meat ???

the lake were i go fishing for carp has to have a guard 24 hours a day due to polish here in the uk going there and trying to net and catch the carp . this yr we have lost over 20 big carp (25lb plus ) due to this . thats over £10,000 worth of carp .

hay bartenders, here in Czech we have completly different carp phenos than in UK or in Canada (not so high yelding). Piss on traditions however Czech carps doesnt taste like mud coz of completly different climate and consequences like plankton... Finaly eat what you need...
