highsteppa nice buds!
Good luck UHN,mine flowered 60 days (4.october),I had to chop all due to bad weather and even worst forcast.Bangi has vigour so I hope you have enough space. Racy effect indeed we are doing 30 pushups for every joint  . Must say nepaleseJ taste is better, but bangi effect is cleaner and more pleasant, you will love this sativa hybrid.

Moldy bud- end of september

konopenko,

thanks for the good vibes. I've got the Bangi Haze dialed into a nice bondage screen. Let's see how she does in a 12/12 stretch...

T - 1 week to 12/12, which means 12 weeks to go...

Mini bangies

Mini bangies

Hi there, one of the 3 bangi haze-females i have now in flowering under 150w vertical and soil(mini bangies)

approx. 3,5 wks of 12/12, looking a bit curly yes, might be too hot soil and maybe vertical light, she seems to flower happily despite of it. Haven't even given her anything besides water

All 3 have similar type of sweet smell, somebody mentioned mangoes and melons, yeah, something like that, really like the sweet scent. No skunks or onions yet!

Nice branchy bangies UHN, have they escaped from screen?
Newyears tree from 2 bangies and 2 OEs - eco

Regards!

Nice holiday tree konopenko. Yes, I freed the Bangi's from their bonds. I like to do that after they finish stretch. Easier to work with, take pictures, etc. Lots of delicious smelling branches with another 4-5 weeks to go.

Cheers,

One of my bangis, the smell has progressed from sweet melons to more funky spectrum, kinda hard to describe. Looking forward to smoking it, quessing some weeks to go still, around 8 weeks now.

Looking great unthing. Here's a few new shots at about 5 weeks, so a few behind you. Agree, I get lemony floral, but with strong funk like onion or something. Very strong smells from these. Competing with some of the stronger Sour Diesels I have grown.

First Bangi Haze #2

Next Bangi Haze #3

Keep us posted to progress. Interested to know how long yours go for.

Question regarding Bangi Haze's genes

Question regarding Bangi Haze's genes

i recently read that Bangi Haze started off as Congolese female X Nepalese/SHH male

i always thought that it was just Congolese x Nepalese with no SSH in it

can someone clarify this please :thank you:

Is there going to be a new batch of seeds from Ace for the next outdoor season? This is the strain I need!!! No more half finished sativa smoke for me if I can get some seed.

Updated Bangi Haze just entering week 9. A bit neglected over holidays due to my Father in law passing. Could have used a bit more N, but straight water from here out for the next week or two while they finish.

I like the looks and smell of Bangi Haze #3 (trifoliate). #2 is similar in smell, less resin and density.

#2

Sorry for dark picture #2

#3 (trifoliate)

#3 is dense, resiny and extremely pungent. I would say these Bangi Haze have equivalent power to some Sour Diesel I have grown out. Very complex aromas. Strong onion/garlic with lemon and incense behind it. They should cure to very strong medicine.

Nice yield UHN, wish you great time with bangi medicine :)

Thanks konopenko, very nice yield indeed! Started these in a scrog set up to get them well branched and maximize space. Set them free once buds had fully set and stretch ended. Seems to be a good technique for these plants as they prefer to grow more columnar naturally.

Looking real good, UHN!

Good yield and good looking to boot,

Its nice to see a great yield, when those can be tough to find in this day of quality over quantity.

Looks killer, bro! Looking forward to see what you think.

GreenMind, many thanks. Hope you are starting well this New Year. Yields on the Bangi Haze look good, but they need manipulation. I have a clone of #3 that I clipped once and it sent three branches up. Yield per branch is about the same as each branch on the original, but by starting her in a scrog set up, I was able to multiply the # of top branches, which creates much higher yield.

Nice bushes there UHN

Chopped mine at 9,5 wks of 12/12, pistils formed in about a week after flip, they had been presexed before flowering too. The looked pretty done by then. All had quite uniform smell and quite similar otherwise, expect there were some differences in nugsize. Didn't take cuts this time but planning running the rest of the pack later this year and select the biggest female as keeper. Interesting crossing potential too, but all this is just talk now for me :)

Better comment after proper cure, but I spent nice evening yesterday with bangi haze samples. Cerebral, but some body to it too, I didn't find it that racy, more mellow trippy and long lasting, I noticed some heart beating at first but felt totally calm. I could sit on my ass if I wanted to but felt quite energitic when I got up and went to crogery store which was bit trippy experience :D

I think there's some similarities to orient express, but bangi is-for a lack of better word-deeper experience than oe. Great strain.

unthing, thanks. I am approaching 9 weeks, so feel they will be ready soon. I see a noticeable difference in bud density in these two samples. The trifoliate looks to be a very dense flower, less so on Bangi Haze #2. Both smell alike and the odor they put off is powerful. Also, as the nutrient reserves run scarce, BH trifoliate is starting to purple in the leaf.

I'm glad to hear you are enjoying yours. I bet with nice cure, they will really shine. Keep us posted here when you feel a proper smoke report is in order.

Yes, smoke report please. And somebody asked a question about SSH being part of the lineage of the Bangi Haze. Anyone care to comment? I have a feeling it is a weird rumour but I dunno why somebody would think that SSH genetics are a bad thing? Or maybe it was started by somebody trying to convince a "set in their ways" person to try a Bangi grow?
