Lol thanks stussy,hopefully the clones pop roots soon,I took em on monday so we should see roots within the next few days.

And yeah I'm no much of.a big eater anymore so its not gonna be that big of deal missin 3 on my right sode top and bottom

sorry to hear about the teeth but hoping the clones root soon for you. how long does it usually take you to root some clones. i have dont it will perfect success. but i was doing that during the summer. so i didnt have to use a heater to warm the water. now i seem to be having just a slighter longer time to root maybe due to the cold weather.

thats what i was thinking but i just didnt have a heat mat. not only that i was doing mine out in the cold weather no heat. but i still got them to root. just took longer. now i have to figure something out because i have to root some more clones and get ready for the next round. and i also need to figure out a new veg spot. i use the same spot for flower as well.

It usually takes me 4-7days in my aero cloner,I had a small fish tank heater in there and I took it out when I got slime and wrapped a heat mat around the bucket to still warm it but not as hot.

I'm seeing the start of roots on 3 of 4 lvpk,2 of 3 chemdog kush,1 of 2 god and 1 of 3 TW and I took em on monday.

But the lvpk look all wilty and deficient but all the rest look fine and green,I added aquashield and some bloom nutes to the mix as BG recommended.


I hope they bounce back once roots fully develope and get in the rdwc system.

Hey all,well the 4 lvpk rooted at 7 days in the cloner and 2 of the 3 chemdog kush rooted and are in the E&F tray next to 3 GDP beans.

The TW cuts didn't take so I scrapped those.

So the lvpk are rooted not fully yet but do have a few 2-3" set of roots on em but the foliage stoll looks like crap?

There's prolly 2-300ppm of nutes @ 5.5phish,the leaves are curled down and they're light green in color and I don't know what else I can do.

Anyone have any idea?

I swear this round is sucking really bad,I hope it turns around.

Since they have roots give them LITE ferts (10%) and keep the PH upper 5's or straight 6.

Then they should be OK for another while.

Well as soon as they perk up I have a home in my rdwc for em so I just need to get em healthy enough to transplant.

Also my coco gals aren't doin so good,but I think they're turning around and are gonna start blowin up soon.

So when do you guys throw cuts in to net pots?? Should I let the roots grow more? The last time I did hydro I had em in the cloner for too long but this time I mneed em to get goin in the rdwc ASAP!

No don't wait any longer.
If you let them grow longer (which there isn't a reason for doing that in first place) it will increase chances for damaging them when transplanting.

So after a few hrs they seem to be stable.

I have a couple test goin this run,#1 I have 2 4" net pots and 2 5" square pots

To see if the larger and more capacity 5" square grow a larger stalk/plant.

Test # 2 is some hydroton my buddy got for free from a hydro shop in norcal that's suposta be the shit,so I have 1 4" net pot and 1 5"square pot filled with the new stuff and 1 of eack filler with the reh hydroton.

I also have holes reamed in one of the 5"square pots to see if it helps with root growth?

Anywho as of a minute ago room stats are-
temp 70.5,
RH 51.5,
chiller 68,
PPM 506,
PH 5.72.

So far so good,we'll see how they hold up over the next few days,hopefully we'll see some explosion in the coming weeks.

so straight out of the cloner into the hydroton? Ever have any problems with that?

Taking close note to the different pot sizes and experiments you are attempting. I'm interested in the results.

yeah iv had no problem with goin from strait out of the cloner to the hydroton,I'm always careful while setting the cut in and filling with hydroton.

I did conduct another test however in my E&F table where I planted 3 of the same beans 2 once rooted I rinsed off the coco and threw strait into hydroton and the other bean was in a Rockwool cube and the one in the RWC is doing significantly better,I'm almost wondering how those resultes would be in rdwc?

I'll snap a pic of those 3 beans so you can see the massive difference in size and color.
