Been busy as hell guys, as usual. With the holidays in the past it's been a lot of work in the basement, but things are HUMMIN!
The day after I got back from holiday my crew helped me cut down 4 lights, it was about 20 jackpots, 2 giant purple gorilla moms, two wow moms, 1 blue dragon mom, a Pineapple Thai mom and a True Purple mom (urkleXgdp) Filled about 6 racks, so that's a good haul for 4 lights.
2 days after we were done trimming we pulled stuff out of veg to refill it, with 10 Blue Dragons, 7 purple gorillas, 5 jackpots, 4 wows, 1 Pure Thai mom (MONSTER) and 1 Purple AK 47 mom. Nice full canopy and mostly very large plants. This was Sunday Jan 2. then we transplanted stuff from preveg into 2g smartpots in veg, filling that back up with tons of Jackpot. oh, and we've switched from FFOF to Botanicare ReadyGro Coco, Aeration formula. Very light (lots of perlite), has good nutes in it and is easy to find. Costs $15 a bag though, but I'm expecting it to be worth it.
The day after that I went back and took clones off everything we just flipped, plus a bunch more out of veg. I like to let cuts soak for 24 hours in a weak KLN solution from Dynagrow, helps with my stick rates.
Last night I sat in the garage with a buddy, and stuck 400 clones. Got another 130 or so left to do today but ran out of trays. Off to the hydro store for more supplies and cloning gel, oh boy!
tonight we're starting on chopping the next 4 lights (all grape stomper) which is nicely purpled and frosty, still foxtailing but not terrible. That will take a few days to trim up, then Sunday we refill those four lights with a bunch of jackpot (I have 60 in veg, so I may just stick em all in flower in 2g pots and prune heavily to make a 4-light SOG.)
I also want to flower a few more moms out now I have so many clones of everything, I'm eyeing 1 of 2 chocolopes, 1 of 2 Maui Wowie, 2 of 4 Hogs, 3 of 5 G13 Haze, and my big Super Silver Haze mom. Oh, there's a Blackberry Cheese and Triple Platinum OG mom I want to flip too, and my big Pineapple Thai mom. So many mothers! I like to take a couple trays of cuts off em then flip em, makes for nice variety and the big plants really help the final yield.
Oh and the other half of the garden is looking fantastic, that's 2 lights of Purple AK, 2 of Jackpot, 2 of Purple Gorilla and 2 of Blue Dragon. there's 4 Wow plants in there too for fun. That harvest comes up in 3 weeks, right at the end of the month. Between the current chop and the next one I should pull over 20# out of the room this month if all goes well. One of the PG's broke itslef in half already from the weight of the buds, we splinted it and yoyod it up so it's fine now, will try to get some pics tonight.
Argh and I'm back to work at my day job this week too, really sucks but it's a few extra K a month of reliable paychecks, keeping the lights on and such during the flood.
Oh yeah, and the power bill is now $4k a month at the basement, fun eh? It sounds like I may be getting the house above the basement to use soon, in which case I'll add 4 more flowering lights in the basement and veg/clone/moms/drying/storage will go upstairs. Maybe even move the reservoirs upstairs so I can add another row of 5 lights to the front of the garden. Whee!! 25K flower and probably 5-6K veg. Gonna be a full time job at that point. Good thing I take WAY more clones than I need!

Last night we refilled the row of Grape Stomper with a selection of medium-large moms from veg, plus 63 jackpots jammed in tight (making a large SOG basically)
The moms include Blackberry Cheese, Maui Wowie, Chocolope (2) G13XHaze (3) the Hog (2) and a big SSH mom. I put those against the veg room wall so they don't block the lights, and the 63 Jackpots (SSH X Afwreck) fill the rest. Had to order some more blumats, normally I only do about 30 plants per row, whew!

Yep, Blumats own, good stuff and work better than most other systems. I'm setting my veg room up on them again too, gonna be about 230 in total. Kinda tricky to find parts, so order lots of spares of everything, but they're the new sliced bread indoors IMHO.

btw lazy, putting my blumats in last night / today. thanks for the inspiration. anyone planning on doing this ill go ahead and repeat whats been said many times already - order at least an extra foot of 3mm tubing for every sensor, more if you roll with larger pots. hey lazy maybe you could rock a helmet lmao. i hate hitting my head so much id probably give it a shot. peace to you and bring on some pics!
