I made this a few weeks ago at work, in my own time of course:rolleyes:

I estimated for it to press nice thin 14 gram bars and got it pretty much spot on, they come out at about 5-6mm thick

Heres some before and after..

very nice doc ,,whats the packaging u used ?

looks like u wanna hash cup for your collection:tiphat:

I like your invention just a few questions;
do you heat your mould and powder before pressing or during or after or not at all?
also can you get much pressure/sq" before it bends the angled supports?

Very nice. KIS principle. Better than my idea using a hydraulic bottle jack.

I believe you could sell those, if you made them available.

I would be inclined to buy one (I like hash ;) ).

Sleepy Thanks mate.
Hazyfontazy I used some cellophane off a new DVD, i need to buy a roll..
Bionic Yeh man i made everything the mould is just some rectangle box section with a plate welded to the bottom with two holes drilled to push the other plate out..
Sexinthecity Thanks man, glad you like..
Sh1wn Thanks man

Thanks..
ChronicDon No theres no need to heat before pressing, if you were pressing with low quality the plates for the mould could be heated. It will start to bend a little under the pressure but not much, i made it so it didnt have much room to flex but its plenty of pressure to press those small bars..
durka_durka420 Go for it mate, so simple if you have the tools and the know how..
David762 I may well do sometime in the near future, be nice if i made them from stainless..
bigwity Hey mate, it was made from bubblehash, all grades mixed together..
Ramius thanks mate
Drewdogg420 Thanks for stopping by..

Il post up some pics of the mk2 in the new year il have it finished when i get back to work...Peace

great job you done mate , if you need more pressure that mould would fit in a nice 12 ton hydrolic press . also making smaller plates to go on top of the press plate so they look like a pyramid helps spread the load quite well , slightly heating the mould gives a really nice finish to the block to , you only want it warm though ,

top notch looking press mate , kudos to you
